What RSS reader do you use?
I started out using bloglines in the beginning. I am now using google reader. Took me awhile to get used to it, but I love it now.
How many feeds do you subscribe to? More stats, I love them. I not long had a clean out, so only have 160 at the moment and read about 450 feeds a day.
So what about you?
If you are stuck, and not to sure about how to use an RSS reader, let us know..we'll help you get started :)

That would be me. I've been trying to work out stuff all morning.
I've just put a RSS feed button on the blog... (which reminds me... are we unable to have pics in sigs here?) but I'm trying to work more out. I like blogroll in theory, but not in practise (I like how it displays in the blog... just as a heading and with an icon showing my links are updated etc and it is really easy). I am sure I could get something like that to happen in my blog.. but not sure how to go about it... I am not particularly going to have my own domain for my blog but I would like to work some of this stuff out before I launch Mamaluna as I will have a blog on that for updates and such...
frankly all this new tech is doing my head in...! LOL

Ok so I use bloglines because that is what I stumbled across when looking for a better way to read blogs on our old net connection (with a tiny download limit - so I dodn't want to load each blog just to see if they had something new) and now with our new but terribly SLOW net connection it is also great...
But I find a few gltiches which drive me nuts... is googlereader better? I use gmail so would I just be better going google for blog feeds too?
I only have around 50 blogs on my list... they are my 'read when they post something new' blogs.. I also have about another 50 bookmarked to have a look at if and when time permits.. otherwise I would just spend all my time reading blogs!

I started with google reader but had a lot of trouble with it freezing up. Now I use bloglines and LOVE it. I found it a little more user friendly than google reader in terms of adding new blogs etc. But I imagine that wouldn't be an issue if you're more internet savvy than me (which isn't hard lol).
It took me a little while to get used to stopping to comment on blogs. When I first started using the reader I found I commented less. Now I'm more in the habit of clicking through to comment. Overall I find it saves me quite a lot of time (even with stopping to comment).
I really LOVE having a list of blogs with new posts and being able to decide what I feel like reading at the time. I've learnt a lot about my preferred blogs this way as well. Some blogs I will want to read as soon as I see they have a post where others I need to be in the right frame of mind to read.
It is a good way to keep track of where you're up to as well.
The only thing I don't like is how long some posts take to come through my reader. I'm subscribed to my own blog as well so I know how long that can take to come through.
At the moment I have 70 blogs in my bloglines list. It seems to be growing as I gradually find my way around.:santa:

I have the beta bloglines and some posts on some blogs turn up as new all the time, and sometimes it shows really really old posts as new... is that a glitch or is there some other reason for that?

I seem to be the only one here using Google Reader. I must admit I found it very simple to set up and can add a blog to it with just one click of a button.
I find my blog reading list is growing daily, so much so, that I need to find more hours in the day to read all the blogs on my reader.

katef - I wondered about that for a while too. Not so much some blogs always coming up as new but the older posts popping back up again. I *think* that an old post will come up as new if there has been some kind of editing happen to it.
Another Google Reader Fan. I gave bloglines a go a few months ago but I think I am just so used to Google Reader that I couldn't be bothered making the switch. Plus I finally realised how I could bundle my feeds into folders to give it a big more organization, and I've found thats made it a bit easier to be more efficient with the amount of time I was spending reading my RSS feeds.

I don't subscribe to many RSS feeds but I probably should I suppose since I like to monitor the goings on the blogosphere. I get most of my blog news from Google alerts which are sent straight to my email box. When I do subscribe to a RSS feed I use Google reader.
