Google is doing another update of it's Page Ranks. Not all page rank checkers are reflecting the changes taking place as yet. The GPR check I use is starting to reflect the update http://www.checkpagerank.net/?gclid=CIqmqJnk148CFRI9YAodNDWeGg

My blog has received a respectable Google Page Rank of 3/10 (not bad for a site that is only 3 months old). My site traffic has skyrocketed in the last few weeks due to a few controversial posts and the SEO all in one plugin for WordPress (if you're not using it you really should give it a go).

A lot of people say Google Page Rank isn't relevant and it is true that it isn't as important as it once was. But website owners still go crazy when Google drops the page rank of their website. So be prepared to hear the next round of complaints about GPR from within the blogosphere in the coming weeks. Last time Google Page Rank did an update, millions of blogs lost their page rank due to payment for links, pay-per-post and other practices Goggle frowns upon.

0 is the new 6 didn't you know :hehe:

AFW lost it's page rank last update, but I really couldn't care less tbh. We have suffered a -60 penalty for 3mths before, lack of page rank isn't really an issues. Traffic, and traffic from google has never been better.

The G didn't notice the TLA on my other blog tho, still has a nice PR4.

I only mentioned GPR because of all the buzz it creates every time there is an update. Bloggers get very upset when Google drops their Page Rank. Unfortunatley, I haven't heard of anyone regaining their GPR in this latest update. A lot of people will say GPR doesn't matter but some of them sure make a fuss when they lose their page rank. Furthermore, I know of at least one affiliate marketing network in Australia that won't accept a website unless it has a GPR of 3/10 or more.

Alexa.com is probably a more accurate way to monitor web traffic and All for Women is doing well there. My website has jumped 5,400% in the last 3 months and Australian Women Online is now 5,567 in Australia according to Alexa.com (Deborah, doing happy dance). At the current rate of growth I may actually make your list of the top 50 Australian Women Bloggers in the next few months--yeah!

I'm still learning about all this stuff but discovered my blog has a page rank of 3 so it sounds like that's reasonable.

You're right Deborah. You do hear a lot about it when google pank ranks drop. I thought a lot of people had noticed an increase with this recent change.
