What is the one household chore you have to do?

DF has been cleaning out the garage and getting ready for a trip to the tip. As a result he has piled all the crapnext to the back gate so he can load the trailer without bringing all the stuff through the house and stlll park the car in the drivway.
When he told me i said it was fine as long as i can still get to the washing line, to which he said something along hte lines of me being a washing nazi and he would never dream of blocking my washing line.

I must confess that i do get a little obsessed with the laundry but only because if i dont keep on top of it, it grows and gets out of control.

Are you a chore nazi? if so what is the chore you HAVE to do if nothing else?

Yes, washing would probably be mine too. If I don't keep on top of it it gets out of control soooo quickly. I prefer to do it myself because I am a bit particular with hanging it out (mainly so it dries properly, and also because if I hang it properly I can avoid the need to iron a lot of stuff :hehe:)

If I can pick two, then the other one is vacuuming because Sophia's crawling and putting things in her mouth and I need to keep it under control.

hmm..this is tough. i don't really do ONE thing all the time..i mean, i sweep almost everyday, then there's the dishes..i think for me it's spraying everything down..i love a clean table, clean countertops, a clean sink, bathroom sink, toilet, etc. i can just go room to room and wipe things down. i guess that's it! :)

I don't have a NEED to do any chores... but the washing is probably the one I can't ignore - and for the same reasons as you Naomi! :hehe: I hate ironing so have been known to rewash an entire load and rehang it rather than iron it after someone else has hung it wrong :D

The Chore I have to do, without fail, every day is prepare and cook meals. Now I don't mind most days, but sometimes I feel like a break..especially when I am not hungry.
But I'm it as far as that goes. No one else is going to do it.:D

Only ONE????:) I do everything here and if I dont it drives me nuts.Crap on the kitchen benches,washing up in sink, clothes everywhere, dirt and crap all over the floors-ugh.Would drive me nuts:yes:

Clothes washing is mine also.:) Actually I've got a load in atm. :)I've also found that in this heat I've been hanging out late arvo or night time otherwise the clothes dry too quick and go all crinkly. Another one who doesn't know what an iron is.:hehe:

I agree, Ironing isn't all that bad. I like to try and do it every couple of days so that i don't have a big pile! I don't think that there is anything that i obsess over but i do like the washing kept up to date and the bathroom sink has to be clean!

When I lived in Europe I had to iron everything and I did not like it. Now I live in the US and thanks to clothes dryers I don't have to iron anymore. I don't mind the folding as much as having to put it away, I never seem to have time for that so it piles up. I do have to wash dishes every day, I like to have the kitchen somewhat clean when I go to bed. I really appreciate my dishwasher!:)

washing for sure! I have to wash everyday! 3-5 days a week i have between 4-7 loads a day, and never have less than 2!

Another is the dishes.........far too many to say "oh ill do it in the morning!" The dishwasher is usually on twice a day plus at times ill have have dtuff that i have to wash by hand, like big things that take up too much space in the dishwasher or things that i simply dont have room for.

Oh the vacuuming, It has to be done daily, sometimes some rooms will need it twice a day.

Sorry i cannot pick one chore!
