Puffy bags under eyes

Hi again girls,

Anyone got a good remedy for puffy eyes? I often have puffy eyes, usually from lack of sleep. I've tried the cucumber slices on my eyes but didn't work :(

There's a great product from Estee Lauder which apparently airline hostesses (is this politically correct) use.

I have used them and they are fantastic - not cheap but I thought worth every cent!

Teabags are supposed to be good. I would imagine you'd chill them down in the fridge first.

LOL I am a bit of an insomniac at times (am going through a rough sleeping period at the mo) but even when I am getting weeks and weeks of 7 to 9 hour uninterrupted sleep I still have dark circles and puffy under my eyes... Must be hereditary or stained I don't know!! :P

Gail - I think I know that product you are talking about is it in a little clear tube with green lid? I had some somewhere should go and dig it out..

There's a great eye gel from Mary Kay that I have. It's soothing & it reduces dark circles & puffiness :D

And Yeah Floria, I should try to get more sleep ;) I've been buring the candle at both ends lately!

Have you tried putting a spoon in the freezer for a few minutes then resting it on your eyes? That's what I do when they are just so puffy I can't stand it. Not only is it cool and refreshing, it really does help to reduce the swelling quickly. Oh, and you don't have to worry about the mess you may get from tea bags or cucumbers either. ;) HTH

That sounds like a good tip!! I should try it as my eyes are all puffy since I let Ash (our cat) sleep in our bed last night... ;)
