So who do you think will be going on Monday. I think it will be Wal, which is a shame, but I also think he has much more determination and drive to do the hard work at home.
I'm going to have visitors here on Monday night for Katelyn's Birthday, will have to tell them to buggar off at 6:55 :Hehe:
I don't think I have ever been this much into a TV show, I will be a little lost when it's finished :(

I definately think Wal will go because he is the biggest threat to them all winning. I think I heard on the ads that you see an amazing transformation with the person who gets voted off, and I'd say that will be Wal.
I don't think it'll be the same once he's gone.

Yes..saw that, I love seeing how well they have done since they were voted out. I think will probably be the best of all of them to work out at home.
It's a shame he will go before some of the others in the house, but I think he will probably end up being the biggest loser overall.
Isn't there only 2-3 weeks left now?

I really love seeing how they've done after they've left the show and I can't wait to see them all at the end. Hadn't Tracey done so well. I guess now she won't be able to do her Plus Size Modelling.
I think Wal is a real personality in the house and I think it will get a bit boring once he goes, but that's the way the cookie crumbles I suppose. It was so surprising to see him under the yellow line. I bet no one including Wal, expected to see that.
I guess there would only be a few weeks left now. So who actually wins it...is it the person who stays in the house the longest or is it the person who has lost the most amount of weight? To be fair it should be the person who has lost the most amount and the only benefit of being in the house is that you get all the extra help and you don't have all the temptations of being at home.

I love seeing them at the very end too Jewly - the reunion is always amazing & the changes are incredible.
Usually the person who wins is the one who has lost the most overall since their starting weight - it doesn't matter whether they were in the house the longest or shortest. Kind of gives those who have been voted off the incentive to keep going doesn't it

I was wondering why the ones that have been voted off already were working so hard still. I thought it might just have been because they knew they were coming back for the final reunion show but if they are still in with a chance of winning the money then I can understand them wanting to give it all they've got.

I hope Wal goes to give the girls still left a chance this week. I'll be watching it for sure hehe

But if they are all in the running to win (those voted off as well as those left) why vote people out?
Leigh
26-03-2006, 11:37 AM
I *think* from what I remember from last time. The biggest loser from the last 2 left in the house gets something. Then the biggest loser over all gets the main prize.
Telori

That's not too bad then, and I suppose it gives viewers the chance to get a favourite and really get into the show.
The funny thing about me watching and really getting into the biggest looser is I hate reality TV shows.LMAO

Oh my god. Did you girls see Wal? Holy ****** hell. He's lost soooo much weight 51 kg oh my god. Well what a night hey. And this week is going to be awesome. I think Ruth should be the next to go she's so much of a darn cry baby. Now I'm still a little confused earlier in the biggest loser thread someone asked if it's the overall biggest loser that wins the money but it musn't be otherwise Wal would win for sure, it has to be the last one left. Would it say on the website? I didn't really watch much of the American ones.

Oooh! Wal had lost heaps, he looks great.
Oh and I think it is the person who loses the most, but surely there has to be a prize for the last person in the house :) .... I can't wait to watch the reunion and see how much the earlier contestants have lost

But when someone gets eliminated AJ says they're out of the running of being the biggest loser. I dunno I'm confused lol.

I think it has to be the last one in the house is the winner, but maybe the biggest looser overall might get something as well? I'm confused here to Angie.
And yeah doesn't Wal look great? I wish Shane would grow something on his chin...

I couldn't believe the difference in Wal...he looked great and I bet he feels so much better now.

:( I sooo like Shane better with hair on his face - I think it gives him more character.... they should have left some on!

Didn't he look great, so different. His wife looked pretty good too the 5 weeks after.
I had a look on the site, and the US site and couldn't find anything about who the winner is. Don't believe what I said...I can't remember yesterday LOL. But what I remember from the US one is they go down to 2 left. They then go home for a month or so like everyone else, and you don't find out who the winner is till the final show. They also had two prizes.. :dk: guess we will have to wait and see.

Hmmmm ok Leigh thanks for looking into it. I checked out the Aussie site and couldn't find anything. It should be finishing soon though shouldn't it? Then big brother will probably start.

I joined up to The Biggest Loser forum yesterday and asked the question...Who is the actual winner...and the reply was that the last person in the house was the winner.

Kristy did so good with the bricks challenge - gosh she's one strong mum! Did everyone see Shane suffer during the temptation? Hehhe poor guy.

Shane did so well in the challenge he should be so proud of himself. I hope he doesn't get below the yellow line and face illimination because of it.

Ok well Kristie had immunity so she went up first for the weigh in. She put on weight. Bulked up in water like Fiona and Shane done a while ago. Then Ruth went up she lost 1.7kg, then Adro he lost 2.4kg, then Shane and he lost 5.3kg, then Fiona was up and she only lost 0.3kg but cause she won a challenge earlier in the week she added an extra 1kg to her loss, but it still wasn't enough. Fiona and Ruth are below the line this week. I reckon they'll vote Fiona off. Ruth has never really been a threat to anyone as she hardly ever loses anything.
Although it came to me last night, that maybe she's holding back on purpose to give everyone the wrong impression and will sneak up on them all. But then I thought no she's too nice lol. Will be interesting this week coming.

You know Angie I was saying the same thing about Ruth. For a big girl she should be loosing weight at a better rate. Maybe she is water loading as they do when the have immunity? Maybe if she makes it to the last 2 she go her hardest and and end up being the biggest looser. No-one is too nice when it comes to 200 grand!

I know that's what I've been thinking mainly this last week, but then I don't know she comes across as having emotional issues with losing weight, although I must admit I'm quite confused about that. Jeepers you try out for this show to lose weight not just make friends. But if she gets into the final 3 she might show her true colours cause yes 200 grand is a lot of money. Someone her size should be losing as much as the others, she doesn't seem to not exercise as much as the others she just finds it harder and has a cry every day.

I was worried that when Ruth left the house...all her baggage would be too much for her. I cried tonight when I saw how great she looked. All a long I thought she is the prettiest of all the girls, and I think when she gets to her goal weight she is going to be stunning.
I am starting to go off Kristie a little..the turning on and off of the water works at the drop of a hat when ever it suits it getting a bit much.

Hmmmmm yes Kristie is definately playing the game now and doesn't care who know's. I still want her to win though. I just couldn't bear it if Fiona won. Ugh. Although I reckon one of the boys will win.
Telori

I think it would be a very emotional time now and right until the end. They have been with each other for two months 24/7. They have been away from home and loved ones for the same amount of time. I think I would be emotional too. They are also having to get rid of people they have formed friendships with, when they really dont want to.
But yes Kristy is playing the game and I hope she wins. I'm p'd off at her though for voting out Ruth, and yeah Leigh I always thought Ruth was the prettiest (even with all that weight). Doesn't she look great now.
I'm glad they banned that water loading thing, I think it should have been banned right from the start.
I'd hate it if Fiona wins, Bob makes me sick the way he fawns all over her. And what is the female trainers(cant remember her name!) thing with Shane?
If I was Shane's wife I'd be marching into that house and dragging him out by his *&^%s!
Phew glad I got that all off my chest...bet I weigh a bit less nowLMAO

I don't remember seeing Ruth say goodbye to Kristie last night?
I agree it would be emtional, but just last night when she was in elimination she was crying and all upset, the camera went from her to Ruth. Then you saw a quick shot of that end of the table and the water works had stopped and she had a smug look on her face.
I would like to see Adro win ( tho what's the go with him and Ruth??? He seemed a little more upset than a married man should be??)
I'd personally like Kristy to win ... but I'm still recovering from Wal being voted out. I thought from the first episode that he would win it.

Telori I've also found myself sitting there thinking that Jillian is very touchy with Shane... hehehe lucky he isn't married :)
Ooh I liked tonight's episode - had a laugh at them and then thought "ooh i'd probably want to chicken out as i'm trying to climb up the tree, wouldn't want to go all the way up" lol :faint:

Oh my god tonight thingy's I would do most of them especially Adro. Ugh I hate heights oh and I so wouldn't have gone absailing forwards. Tomorrow will be good hehe
Telori

I could never have done what Adro had to do. At least Fiona had the trapeze to aim for. Adro had to just jump into nothing. I would have had a heart attack
I was really glad that Kristie won immunity tonight. Adro was p'd with her though, but she really tries so hard, and deserved it. Shane had amazing bad luck from the start, and Fiona... at least she didn't quit, but her defeatist attitude from the start (I CAN'T ride a bike) was really annoying. She's taking such a long time to realise she's her own worst enemy.
About the Ruth thing - I too loved her (and Cat), but she had done all she could, and I really can't see her completing tonight's 'super challenge'. She's gone well in the real world though. Can't wait for the reunion show to see how they all look.

yeah Fiona is very negative about herself and what she can do. But when she puts her mind to it and shuts her mouth she actually does alright. - I still cant stand her though. If Artie and whats her name were still in the house Fiona would still be following them around like a puppy. She has no mind of her own.
I was glad Kristy won. I'd like to see her and Adro left in the house at the end. I dont care which one wins out of those pair. But it would be nice to see a woman win because women seem to have such a hard time loosing weight.
I totally agree iwth Telori ... I was actually coming in to say that exact thing.
I'd love for Kristy to win because I think she's the one who's pushed herself the most out of the 4 that are left.
I would like to see Fiona go because I think Shane, Adro and Kristy have more weight to lose and more confidence to gain. Fiona is only 22 and has a lot of soul searching to do reguardless of her lack of confidence. She will gain that as she gets older.
GO KRISTY!!!

07-04-2006, 08:55 AM
I hope Kristy wins as well as she has tried hard all the time she has been in the house and even though she appears to be in control and strong, she also has serious emotional issues and needs to be able to stand up for herself once she is back in her own life.
I think Ruth had gone as far as she could go and she couldn't perform the challenges very well at all-there is no way she could have finished that last one successfully.
Fiona has had amazing luck with gaining immunity on three occasions and I would hate to see her win just by luck.
From what I remember being said, I think Shane has never had a 'relationship' as his weight issues and total lack of confidence always killed any chance of it happening.
I think that's what Jillian has been trying to do and show that he IS attractive and can succeed-he definitely seems to be smiling a lot more and gaining confidence in himself.

I do hope Kristie wins too. Immunity was great for her this time round. Adro is a great guy and all but I don't really want him to win. He's a sore loser ie last night's challenge. Definately don't want Fiona to win. Will be very interesting tonight and also to see everyone at the end.

Yeah but is that fair to Shane. Once the show is over it'll be bye bye no more cameras no more 'friendship'. I think Shane deserves better.

I'm also backing up Kristie to win.... but I actually do hope that Fiona stays in the last three - she did well in the rock climb a few episodes back, don't know what has happened to her since.
I get the impression from Fiona that if she actually has a chance with winning, she puts 100% into the challenge and if someone else has a chance of winning, she doesn't try hard.

Yeah but is that fair to Shane. Once the show is over it'll be bye bye no more cameras no more 'friendship'. I think Shane deserves better.I think it's shown Shane just what he has been missing by cutting off any relationships and from what he was saying to Jillian he is now ready to go out looking once he has left the house.
His self-confidence was rock bottom and now it appears that he feels much better about himself.
