Well my big baby girl went to prep today! We dropped dylan off at his classroom, he was right at home, so we left him and took bell to her class, I told her to go and say hello to her teacher, she went up and said "hello mrs Robinson" (was sooo cute she remembered her teachers name without needing a reminder, then her teacher asked her name , bell told her, then the teacher led her over to a table full of name tags and said bell if she could see her name and bell picked it right away! Sometimes she has trouble, i was so prod of her, then her teacher asked her to put her bag and hat in the rack and lunchbox in the fridge, bell did all of this without help it was like she had done it a million times before!

We sat down and did a couple of puzzles with her, then i said "ok im going now bell" (mark had just walked outside with jordan as he was playing up) and bell just said "ok bye" without evening lift her head! LMAO
I told her to give Livy and i a kiss, she kissed me and then said "I just dont want to kiss livy I'll give her a lttle hug" .....then she was straight back to her puzzle! I asked her if she wanted to come say bye to daddy her reply was a busy "no thanks" So i told her i would tell daddy to come in ..."I said no thanks" LMAO

She didnt even lift her head!

I'm glad she settled well, Niether of us cried, although i came close, I just cant believe my little miricle is at school now, it didnt feel like all that long ago she was 1800gms and in a humidicrib with the Cpap and various other wires and tubes hanging from her tiny little body.My 7 week premmie is a big girl now  Honestly it feels like we have gone from not knowing if she would survive or live a "normal" childhood to a school girl within a few months!

I took a few pics and the body corperate here used to work in photography so he offered to take a professional shot, he told the kids he'd have it ready by the time they got home. That was so nice of him!

When i can get pics uploaded i'll show you.

Anyway sorry about the novel, I'm just so so very proud of my miricle baby girl. There was many times we didnt think she was going to make it thru. So i guess thats why i feel like i do!

Thanks di i will tell her-
Dylan was fine, he got the same teacher and class mates as he did last year and they have only moved to the room next door so not much change for him.
When i told his teacher we were going to go and settle bell in she was really good she told him he could go play on the computer (she knows how much he loves them) after that it was 'what family" (as we were all there) i just sung out "bye dyl!" and the only reason i got a bye back was cause the computer hadnt come on yet. LMAO

Glad it all went well Manda, there is nothing more stressful for a parent than leaving an upset child at school.

Lets hope they continue to go off happy :)

So glad it went well. She'd probably have that extra bit of confidence as her big brother has already been - but it still sounds like she's settled right in anyway!

Jordie has, he's been a bit off colour the last 2 days (had a chuck whike trying to eat dinner last night) today hes been really quiet. He is sooooooooo used to bell being around to play with and to be a helper.

Shite i cant blame him, i feel the same, im used to asking her to grab a nappy or this or that (she loves being a lil helper) I have a few times turned around to sibg out to her.....then realise shes not here LMAO

it was sooooooooo funny this morning, with both dyl and bell having the same hat and same uniform we kept mixing them up.....eg "DYLAN get out of the bloody puddle" ............then notice its not dyl its bell!! LMAO.........damn wide brimmed hats :giggle:

oh manda... its amazing isnt it?

my DD started today and ... well... I am not so sure.

I hardly got any info out of her about how it all went...
"ok"
"Cant remember"
"I dont know"
"think so"

hope tomorrow is better!
but she was so dead tired, she was asleep before I finished the story!

time will tell... but I think she is doing better than I am! I walked about the house not sure what to do with myslef for hrs, kept looking at the time. I was so unproductive!

I know what you mean!
