Do you wear Gold or Silver...or both?

I wear all gold. But there is so much nice silver jewellery around and it's so cheap, I am really tempted to mix...but have issues with things matching :hehe:

up until about five years ago I only wore silver, now Im into gold, every xmas my hubby buys me jewellery but only at xmas, in fact he goes to the same jeweller shop every year, so now they send him a valued customer reminder they have on computer what he has bought and try to add to the pieces, for the last five years they have done well, but this year he went back to silver, a beautiful bracelet and necklace silver and black onyx,, last week I wore the bracelet with my gold, would love to know if that can be done or not

I used to be a devoted silver wearer but have gradually got more and more gold and now prefer it. I don't think I could pull off matching so I'd never try :hehe: so I just wait until my better half buys me more jewelry ... he has much better taste than I and usually buys something just right.

Have only ever worn silver mostly, wore gold a little when I was younger but prefer silver, never thought about mixing it.

I have always worn both Rose/yellow gold or White....I never mixed the pieces....but I do now.
I have just had a charm bracelet made with spare pendants and rings that I never wear...or never will again...both colours are in it.
Today, anything goes....do what you feel happy with.

I mix as ALL my jewellery is gold bar my watch it is silver & I wear it all the time, if I could find one exactlly the same in gold I would grab it

i wore all gold, but now am changing to silver. except my necklace is all diamonds but has a gold chain. lol. so i'm really not sure on this one. i don't think the chain is too noticeable and if it looked silly wearing it of course i would take it off. :)

My wedding ring is gold but my watch is silver with gold tonings...this is the only jewelery I ever wear so it works for me..:)

Yes Rachel it just doesn't seem right. A bit like going out with odd shoes on.

I'm going to do it anyway tho...going to buy these silver rings that I have had my eye on and wear them with my gold and see if the world ends. I'll let you know :hehe:

I mix, I love jewelry and if they're nice pieces then it doesn't matter if they're mixed.

I love white gold which goes great with either gold and/or silver.

I only ever wear silver, platinum or white gold.

My watch though is an Omega with the silver and gold band that's the most gold I wear.

In terms of mixing. As long as you feel happy with it, go for it I say!

Just don't over do it. If you're unsure, take one thing off.

I much prefer the colour of white gold/silver.

All my rings (except for my Rose Quartz ring) are white gold. Earrings are silver (can't get any nice white gold ones) and the same with necklaces. Even my watch is steel so they all match :)

I dont really like the look of yellow or rose gold. The only gold jewellry i own is hand-me-downs from my nanna and i dont wear it. I have considered getting it diped in silver/white gold but it wouldnt be the same so i havent done it.

I love silver as I have pale skin, and it stands out more, I believe that if one is tanned or olive skin. Gold looks looks fantastic, but then again gold looks great on pale skin too, lol it just depends on the person. I have never mix and matched. Sounds interesting though.

I just brought a gold chain bracelet from Michael Hill Jewellwer.

I can't wear silver earrings unless it's that surgical steel stuff because it doesn't agree with my ears/skin. So I just go for proper gold.

I love silver for special occasion because its cheap and I can have varieties of design for my collection. But for day to day, I wear gold presented to me during my wedding. I never bought any gold... As for mix silver and gold, I never do...

Silver and white gold are my faves. I have a few pieces of gold jewellrey, but rarely wear it.
Most of my jewellrey is silver, with a few very special pieces of white gold, such as my engagement & wedding rings, and the white gold pendant (with diamonds) & earings that hubby gve me on our wedding day:)

On the mix and matching...you can get two tone jewellery which would mean you could wear both gold and white gold/or silver with those pieces. I always wear silver/white gold but I was once given a two tone ring that looked nice with a mixture.

I have always worn gold untill my bf got me a silver pandora, and i think silver looks better on my skin (olive) gold kinds of blends in too much. But when i have more $$ white gold instead of silver :)

I wear gold and silver. Mostly silver though, because i dont want to ruin the gold! :) lol. I do have issues mixing thats why i buy two tone as well. That way i can mix gold and silver. Also i usually stick to white gem settings, they go with everything! haha
