OVERWORKED?? - THE AUSTRALIAN DEFINITION
For a couple of months I've been blaming it on lack of sleep and too
much partying. But....I'm tired because I'm overworked.
The population of this country is 18 million. 8 million are retired.
That leaves 10 million to do the work.
There are 6 million in school, which leaves 4 million to do the work.
Of this there are 1.5 million unemployed, leaving 2.5 million to do the
work.
Take from that 1,180,000 people who work for government departments and
the 480,000 in the armed forces, and that leaves 840,000 people to do
the work.
At any one time, there are 179,000 people in hospitals, leaving 661,000
people to do the work.
At the moment, there are 660,998 people in prisons.
That leaves just two people to do the work.
You and me.
And you're sitting at your computer reading jokes.
:Hehe:
