Well they aren't the pretty lime green that I was after. They did have a green but John said they were way too bright so I couldn't get them :(

So we have light cream coloured ones instead :yes: Not as nice as the green but at least they tie in with the paintwork. Maybe I could dye them lime green. :hehe:

Paint a nice design on them Kay...using fabric paints.

Or you could make some pretty/groovy embellishments and sew them on?

I would just leave them as is! But then, I am not very creative :hehe: I think they look good.

Ooooh I hadn't thought of painting them! :D I'm no good with a sewing machine so embroidery is out but I can do basic outlines and such as far as painting goes. Hmmm....will have to have a think about it :yes:

They look good Storm.. A lot like mine, I have timber blinds as well, have you got blinds, did you say?

Yup we have timber blinds on all the standard size windows but this one is just over the sliding door :yes:

They look great Kay :) Sometimes leaving them plain is better because you can always match more things to them (well, that's what I do anyway LOL).

And, you could always use green tie backs to dress them up when they are open (if you still wanted something green).

Definately a trip to Spotlight. You can get some beautifull stick on embellishments that you could paste all along the top and then make the embellishments into tie backs. You can do em in a lovely green that way you get to have some green the way you wanted. OOOOOHHHHHH I love spotlight, I'm a terribly visual person so spotlight is like Nirvana to me.
