Hi. My printer is printing gobbily goop! Don't know the technical word for it.
Someone said it's trying to print my word document in picture form.
Anyway, I've downloaded the manual and looked at it but can't find gobbily goop anywhere, my daughter has looked at it (she's a geek), we have un-installed it, re-installed it and the drivers (I don't understand that bit that's why I have a geek daughter). She can't get it to work.
It's like the printer doesn't understand the language that I'm sending it.
Can anyone help please?
Thank you.

Have you tried downloading the driver from the Internet? I had to do that for my Smum's printer. It was new and came with a disk. That seemed to work and she hasn't had trouble since.

If you Google 'printer drives' you should come up with some good free sites.

Otherwise if the printer is new you should be able call the place you got it and they will help you, or tell you where to get help.

Thanks Telori.
The printer is 2nd hand - my ex partner's.
My daughter downloaded the drivers and tried all of that. Still no go.

She is going to take the printer to her place and try it with her computer. She said it could have something to do with my Windows Program.
I think I might just throw it away. lol.
Lucky I don't want to print much or often isn't it!!!!
