Hi,
just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to get paint and texta off school uniforms. I have tried pre-wash sprays and napisan to no avail and the uniforms are only one week old !!

I know fly spray gets black permanent marker of white walls.
nail polish remover
paint thinners
Im assuming the paint stains are dry? If not what type of paint is it?
To remove ink rinse in cold water, then rub in liquid detergent and rinse again. You can also get specialist ink removers. I am assuming this will work for texta as well.

I used to use something called INKOUT sold in Coles and Wollies. It's quite expensive but it gets all ink, permanant marker etc out of everything. It was great stuff so maybe next time your shopping have a look on the top shelf of the detergents aisle and check it out.

Perfume
aerogaurd
hairspray
Glycerine
cloudy ammonia
hydrogen peroxide(dillute}
Turps
alcohol
eucalyptus oil
With ink(not sure re.permanent marker thou]soak in sour milk for several hours.(worth a try).or try a mix of bicarb soda and vinegar.or bicarb soda & lemon juice
these are some things I have used successfully to get some difficult stains out of my boys clothes.Good luck !

Forgot to mention WD-40 great for removing tomato and lipstick stains from clothes, also removes scuff marks off hard floors, and is the best shower screen cleaner.
