How many sets of bed linen do you have? Do you use matching linen?
We have 3 quilt covers with matching pillow cases. All of our sheet sets are white. We use them interchangably.

Too much to thinkLMAO My linen cupboard is over flowing. Funny though I usually use the same ones over and over. Think I might have to go through it all and be brutal. But you just never know when all that linen will come in handyLMAO

I have a couple of sets for each bed but the sheet sets are white so they can go on any one.
each of the beds has 1 doona cover. Our bed (KS) has 2 sets sheets, both white. DD's bed (our old QS) has about 6 sets all diff colours & DS's beds (single bunks) has approx 6 sets diff colours as well. Hoping to get DS a QS this year

I like blue, so I have a couple of set's of blue sheet's and pillow case's with different patterned doona's with blue in them, I have other colour's as well but seem to stick with the blue.

I have a few different doona covers, which I alternate depending on my mood!
My sissy has white sheets only, and I think the next sheets I buy will be white. I am honestly not that fussy when it comes to linen, but sometimes I wish I was, cause there is some rally nice linen out there!!

As part of the dehusbandfying process I bought a new bed and all the old bed linens went to St Vinnies.
I now have 2 quilt and pillow sets, both gold and three sets of sheets with pillowcases, white, cream and fawn.
All are interchangeable.

Well none of us use top sheets except Trinity in the cot, she has 4 for the cot.
The boys both have single beds and between the 2 of them I have hmmm, 7 or 8 sheet and doona cases that match.
I have hmm about 5 different sets for my bed

i know DF has a couple sheet sets, but i really don't know how many..i still don't know what he has and what he doesn't and i've been here for quite some time! :hehe:
as my linen cupboard is two roll under the bed plastic containers, i have 2 doona covers and 2 fitted sheets and a few pillow cases.. when one wears out, i buy another.. :D 1 black and 1 grey doona cover, that go with a grey or purple bottom sheet, grey, black and purple pillow cases.. i like king sized doonas on the qeen sized bed, gives us both plenty of coverage, especially with cats that end up in the middle... of course.. the spare double bed linen stays on the bed! lol.. it's easier to store the stuff on the bed for me, including the two double doonas..

I have far too much
I never use top sheets at all, so they just sit in there collecting dust. My aunty said she will make them into fitted sheets for me but then I will have 26 bottom sheets in various shades of blue, purple, green and cream/yellow. If I wanted to, I need only wash sheets once a year because I will have enough to change once a week for six months. I also recently got an all year round king size doona which meant that I had to get new doona covers - only two this time. All the QS doona covers and the doonas are for guests now and aren't they lucky.....over 6 designs to choose from. LMAO
i don't buy sets that include a top sheet, pointless as i never use them... altho i still have a couple of older double sized ones i store in one of those plastic bins for no reason at all.. lol...

Oh zen I didn't buy the majority of my linen. The odd bits that I did buy myself, I only bought the bottom sheet. My folks went through this phase where they thought it would be really helpful to give me linen for every birthday and Christmas. Consequently 13 sets of sheets and that doesn't even include the flannelette sets.
Oh and I'll never ever have problems with running out of towels either. After I told them I had enough sheets, they moved on to towels. LMAO

...Ooopsie this (as many of you know) buying bed linen is my addiction. :hehe:
Hell the way I figure it is..I don't drink, I don't smoke so I can have a nice looking bed if I like :P
SW.. had to laugh at that! i'd love my parents to buy me lots of towels and sheets, and doona covers too! ok, i have nowhere to store them all, the space under both beds is all taken! but heck.. at the prices of some of them, i'd find a way! :D

3 (Sheridan) white QS sheet sets and 2 doona covers
2 white single sheet sheets and one doona cover
I have just given alot of linen away to the Salvo's, such a good feeling and less stuff to unpack and more chance for me to buy some new stuff.

We have 3 quilt cover sets, one for the cooler months (latte, white and green), one for the warmer months (mint and white) plus a spare one (all white). There's also a couple packed away that i should sell or give away - we don't use them anymore. 2 sets of sheets (green / white). The kids have 2 quilt covers and 2 sets of sheets each as well.

I have 2 quilt cover sets for our QS bed- one gold and one brown with gold flecks through it and 3 sets of egyption cotton sheets 1 white, 1 cream and 1 fawn and 1 set of flanny sheets.
Spare room- 1 doona cover, 2 sets of coffee coloured sheets and 1 set of cream coloured flanny
DD's single bed- 2 doona covers, 2 sets cotton sheets and 2 sets of flanny sheets (still in the packet as I got them on sale and she has only been in a "big girl bed" for about 6 weeks)

If you sleep like a log all night and don't move, then top sheets are fine. But if you are like me and do a lot of acrobatics in your sleep, having a top sheet means you end up tied up in it like a cocoon in the morning and fall on your butt trying to get out of bed half asleep to shut the alarm off. :P

haha i do that sometimes, but usually i just like a top sheet coz if i get too hot with the doona i kick it off and just leave the top sheet on otherwise i get too cold hehe
especially with the BF coz he's a human heater ! hehe

I have four sets btwn 2 beds (ie. whatever decor takes my fancy at the time). I think they're really nice and tasteful - quite feminine. (I must explain...when I was with my ex he would not let me choose a doona cover without his ok. Needless to say sets of the past were revolting blacks, dark browns, very horrid actually....)

yes i like the pretty ones too kek
I have 2 quilt covers for our bed - one is a warm burgundy and cream floral print - I use that in winter, and the other is cool blue and white swirls - it's for summer. :) I change the end curtains to match the quilt cover too.
My 2 kids who are still at home both have 2 quilt covers.
Sheets - too bloody many! LOL
I like to have my sheets and pillowcases all matching. I have a favourite set for my bed that I use all the time. They feel much so better than the others.
Don't you hate it when sheets get pilling all over? Yuck. That's happened to some of ours - I think they were the cheaper sets.
Oh and yep, Kekka, same here - my DH never wants anything "too pretty or feminine" on the bed. :( My burgundy and cream floral set is about all I could get away with! Personally I would love a wildly feminine and romantic bedroom!

Doesn't happen with 300 count plus sheets July....you gotta get some. :D 1000 count is like sleeping on silk but 300 count is nice and silky too for a fraction of the price ;)
Thanks Stormy. Next sheet shop will be 300+ then. :)
Soon it will be flanelette sheet weather though.
