Anyone else enjoy these?
Living out in the bush I spend a lot of time in the car toing and froing from town and often have a talking book to pass the time.
I have just finished "A spot of bother".
Really enjoyed it, anyone recommend any others they have enjoyed?

We used to have a whole lot....used them on the boat when cruising (that way the book pages don't get mouldy or wet)....and when driving. The TT still has some of the Star Trek/Wars one that he listens to if he can't sleep.
i listen to audio books while i'm at the gym, just on a little mp3 player.. mostly free classics from Project Gutenberg, altho i've bought a couple of others from time to time... the free ones are ok, but i don't like the computer generated ones as much as a real human voice.. there are other sites that have free audio books, from books that are in the public domain.. LibriVox is one..

Thankyou Zen....these are now on my favourites....and when the TT is next talking to me, I will get him to show me how to access.

I have heard of them, but not heard them. They sound great. Must get my hands on one.:)

I probably should look into borrowing a few from the library next time I go on a long trip by myself.

Got another one today from the library..it is my latest addiction :hehe:
One thing I did notice is that at my library they have a huge range of cassettes..but I only have a cd player in my car :(
