I very rarely get bored! Any free time I get I can easily fill with so many things that I wish there were more hours in a day these days! The majority of my time is spent chasing a nearly 2 year old so even popping out to the shops for 10 minutes while DD is at home with DP is an exciting event for me :hehe:

very rarely today I was but only because I wanted to get out of the house, so I took the kids for a bike ride & that soon relieved i :)

Most of the times I get bored when I'm stuck in the house for days on end. It really is a combination of boredom with the things that I usually do in the house and frustration with the fact that I'm not able to leave the house.

Having a 13, 11, and a 2 1/2 year old I am rarely bored. Between all there sports, school stuff, work, and sociallising, there is hardly anytime for me!!

I get bored very easily and find it extremely hard to sit still. Probably why I am a bit of clean freak :hehe: I can be sitting at the table one minute, looking out the window the next and then get up to clean it or go and move a ball that hasn't been put away outside :weird: I drive everyone here nuts. I can't even watch a movie without doing something in between LOL

I don't get bored as in have nothing to do, there is always something. I do get bored of doing the same thing over and over though. I am not a highly motivated person when I'm sleep deprived, and I get very lazy.

(Yesterday I was home alone - no husband or children - and I actually really enjoyed cleaning the house :O It was a huge surprise to discover that).

Maybe you enjoyed the fact that there was no one to interrupt you, so the whole process went more quickly :hehe:

Oh I do! :D I get bored of the same old routine day after day, or of talking to the same people, or of playing games and entertaining the kids, ..... the list goes on! I never seemto have a spare second and there's always a million things to do and places to go, but I often find I don't want to do any of them. Sad I know... :hehe:

No, I like going to work; job is varied and interesting, always something happenig here. Weekends are busy with housework, friends, family and going to the movies, always something to do, and now that I have just bought a new place, I don't think I will be bored for quiet some time. :hehe:

I am sometimes bored in the evenings, when there is nothing decent on TV,or AFW is quiet..LMAO
I would much rather be out doing something than just filling in time sitting here at the PC. You know, like Dinner and a Show..but I'm not married to rockafella, so it's not going to happen.LMAO LMAO

I can totally relate to that  When the house needs a good going over I ask DP to take DD out for a few hours, I get so much done and I always feel better when the house is spotless (which is rare! DD likes to relocate things constantly)

Josie you know that I can relate to living with a hideous illness (or 3 :P ) but the only way I find to cope is by thinking that life is what you make it, you just can't let your illness rule your life, and I try to remember that there is ALWAYS somebody much worse of than me!

You are right Patricia, but when I can think of things I'd like to be doing and can't, it does irk me.

I guess I don't really have time to get bored with Declan around, but the house can feel like a prison,.

I've spent many years only working. No hobbies or interests to speak of. I have no children and I'm single. I've decided there's more to life than just working. I'm working part time, studying part time and I do belly dancing. In the next few months I'm planning on joining a book club and doing flamenco dance classes. Life's too short to sit arouind doing nothing. :)

I'd just like to add that I'm doing all this stuff not just to avoid getting bored but to get out of the house and socialize. I'm a pretty shy person so I need to push myself out of my comfort zone (home) and get out there. It's also to keep stimulating myself so I don't tire of routine. I think it makes me a more interesting person to boot! :)
