I really feel sorry for the guy on the Information Desk at Bunnings. While I was waiting in line to ask my own stupid question (how big a bracket do you need for a solid pine shelf that measures 1210x450x19), you have no idea how many people said to him "I'm after a 'thingie'" to which he would respond "and what kind of 'thingie' would that be?" Got to give it to him though, he never got cranky and he always replied with a bemused smile on his face. :)
But anyway, it got me thinking about my own "thingie" that I want. We're trying to get a little organised around the house here and so we've started with the laundry. I picked up my shelf and brackets today to store the buckets, fertiliser sprayer and other bits and pieces up there and when I got home, I realised the shelf was a good 500mm shorter than what I was after. I was thinking of taking it back but then I realised that the spare space I could use for something else.
So I'm after a "thingie" that holds brooms, mops and such up on the wall. You know, it's a "thingie" that you clip the mop into and it just holds it there. I know you can get these "thingies" because I have seen them on home improvement shows but do you think I can remember for the life of me what the "thingie" is actually called? :hehe:
Any suggestions would be appreciated....I really don't want to have to go up to this guy tomorrow and just ask for a "thingie" :D
