Bed Socks

Do you wear socks to bed if your feet are cold? My mum likes to wear socks on cold nights. But I just can't sleep with anything on my feet. I fall asleep with them on but when I wake up in the morning I find I have kicked them of in my sleep. I love walking around the house in nice thick plush socks though so I have about a million pairs of different coloured bed socks!

Same here! I can't stand socks on my feet when I'm in bed. I always find them on the floor when I wake up.
And I always have cold feet..

If I have cold feet, I can't sleep. I don't actually have bed socks, I always wear a pair of hubbys sockies, but only when it is cooler. I have already started!!!:D

I'm, the same Rachie but i find my feet don't really warm in bedsocks but, i do like to wear them around the house of a night & morning instead of slippers.i did think when i went to bed last night that my feet were cold & it took me a while to go to sleep, i am thinking of maybe getting cotton socks for bed i think they might be okay.
my mum always supplied us all with bedsocks she knitted them constantly
she was a cold frog so always had them on

YES!! Absolutely essential, I wear bed socks most of the year 'round. :yes: I have 3 pairs of wooly socks in pale pink.

I wear bedsock's around the house but don't wear them to bed even though I suffer from cold feet, I take a hotwater bottle to bed if my feet are cold when they're warm I kick the hottie out.

isn't that what husbands are for? warming cold feet? i should have thought of that in that other thread on what they were good for... :D cannot stand anything on me, head to toe, in bed, but i do wear socks around the house on cold winter mornings, or those soft slip on slippers.. i need another pair, maybe ugg slippers this year.. :)

No, I don't like wearing socks to bed either.
But I do love wearing my Uggies around in winter. All our floor is tiled, so can be cool.

I can't stand anything on my feet so don't wear them to bed but I do potter about the house with them - they are Pooh Bear ones :hehe:

I don't actually have cold feet even in the cooler months, well unless I have been walking on tiles around the house. :)

if it's really cold and it's winter then yeah, i'll wear socks to bed..but that's the only time i do. usually i take them off before i jump into bed or i'll eventually take them off and find them on the floor in the morning. :)

I'm the same. I turn it on a little while before I go to bed so that it's all nice and toasty by the time I get in but I must admit that if I wake up in pain I do turn it back on again to give me some relief but I always make sure I tun it off before I go back to sleep. I have a mania about electric blankets catching on fire, you hear so many stories about it.

I'm the same with electric blankets Patric but i hav'nt had one on the bed for oh shit maybe 30 yrs & i never had them on my kids beds either because (in my head) i always thought that if they got out of a warm bed & then outside in the cold they might get a bad flue, as i said (in my head) LMAO but my sister gave me 2 for my Gkids beds for my house but DS asked if i was'nt useing them could they have them at their place so i gave them to him the other day, all my beds have lambs wool matress covers & i have great blankets for them but i myself just like a feather doona in winter & i put it on last week & i have to say that Maggie just loves it too lol

It has to be really, really cold for me to even have something on my feet inside of a day time, usually I have bare feet but I do have a pair of those special non-slip socks now that have that rubbery coating on the bottom so I don't go A over T on the slippery tiles....LMAO

Yup that's what mine are only they have Pooh Bear on them :hehe:
