I could almost strangle Mojo....he just let himself out the screen door which I thought was securely closed and unopenable by cats. You have to squeeze the latch and slide the door....how on earth does a cat manage that??? Well it will have to be one of those mysteries because the little bugger can do it. :headh:
He just took years off my life because I couldn't find him for love nor money and usually he will respond when he's called. After about fifteen frantic minutes thinking he had gone down the road and we might not find him, I heard a tinkle in the bush and there he was just happily chomping grass on the other side of the fence! :O
Meanwhile Rosie was just sitting at the door wondering why her mum and dad looked so worried. Astonishingly, she'd just sat beside the door the whole time and never even bothered going out.
So new rule here - all doors must remain locked at all times. :brow:
lol! cats will be cats.. i know that feeling tho.. we have a cat door of course, but i usually have it closed up.. mainly cos there is this cat that lives down around the corner who comes to visit and eats all the food.. not to mention scaring my two out of their fur at times.. the flap has mesh on it, and one morning i noted the mesh had been pushed out of the frame, and Archi was missing.. yes, same panic on my part! up and down the street etc.. making an idiot of myself calling for Archibald... where was he? on top of the tall cupboard in the kitchen fast asleep.. :D
just had a scare with Reggi this morning tho.. he made this awful yowling noise this morning, and hid behind the bed in the spare room making more noise, like he hurt somewhere.. remembering of course that he is the retarded one....... i was positive something had to be wrong, last time he did that his dewclaw was hanging by a thread of skin, he'd pulled it out somehow.. now he seems perfectly fine.

You're probably right....he's probably been watching us for the last two years doing it every day. :hehe:
Although it took him a year and a half to learn how to open a unlocked cavity door so you can see why I didn't really give him the credit :P

They are very clever and so fast once they work out how to do it .
Nudge has tripped me up some days flying out the door and he is usually in another room when I open the door.
He has never snuck out though and hidden in a bush :hehe:
Am glad you found him :)

Barbara I was really worried about him because our neighbourhood is notorious for baiting food with aspirin and leaving it outdoors. :( Their rationale is that the cat shouldn't be on their property so it deserves to get baited. Hence why I have always been a nazi for keeping them inside unless I have them on a lead.
He's complaining rather loudly this morning.....John is out digging some more of the hole and he can't understand why he can't go out with him. :hehe:

what a clever cat! :hehe:
our whiskey is scurrying away every time the front door is open. i think she's scared of the outside. she'll sit on the windowsill though and watch what's going on out there, but she'll jump off within a minute-i think she's scared! so luckily enough i don't have to worry about her going outside.
