Ok Yomamma that's it ..we are goin' head to head in a brownie challenge :P:P
White-choc cherry ripe brownies.
*125g unsalted butter
*2 x 240gm block white chocolate (chopped)
*3/4 cup caster sugar
*2 eggs (lightly beaten)
*1 teaspoon of Vanilla
*3/4 cup Plain flour
*1/2 cup SR flour
*3 x Cherry ripes
*Icing sugar to decorate
Grease a 23cm square cake pan. Line with baking paper.
Heat butter and 1 block of choc over low heat until smooth. Cool for 5mins.
Stir in eggs, vanilla, sifted flours and other block of chopped chocolate.
Spread mixture into prepared pan. Cut the cherry ripe into 1cm wide strips and arrange over top of mixture pressing down slightly.
Cook in moderate oven (180 degress celcius) for 35 minutes or until golden.
Cool in pan, dust with sifted icing sugar and then cut into squares.
