Clean your teeth during the day?
I only clean them at night before bed, seems to work for me since I have no fillings in all my 35 years! :D

At least morning and night. I know I should after lunch as well but I usually don't.
Josie, how do you leave the house in the morning without cleaning your teeth?! Don't you feel like your breath is rancid?

If I'm at home, I clean my teeth after every main meal. If I'm out and about, then I just clean them in the morning before I leave and before I go to bed at night.
I can't not brush my teeth in the morning.....I just can't. I remember one of the girls I work with coming to work one morning saying she hadn't had time to brush her teeth - however she did have time to fully straighten her hair, put on a full complement of makeup and iron her uniform. No way, I would have skipped on the ironing before I'd skip on brushing my teeth.

I've had a lot of problems with my teeth and gums over the years. I've had heaps of fillings put in. Gum recession which required surgery and root canal. I'll need to get a crown put in at some stage I used to only brush once a day (in the morning) I now make a point of brushing twice morning and night and flossing at night

I brush my teeth about 3 times a day, and I floss at night. I bring my toothbrush with me to college, so that after i eat lunch I can clean my teeth. And nightime flossing, it just feels so good!

You should brush your teeth at least every morning and every night. I recommend flossing once a day, preferably at night or using a water irrigator like the Waterpick brand. I am a dental hygienist and I believe that you can do a lot for your overall health by taking care of your gums and teeth and by visiting your dentist/hygienist 2x year. There are those rare cases where a patient does not have problems (genetics, saliva composition, etc), even though she may not be brushing or flossing regularly, but most of us need to follow a good routine to stay healthy.:D
Gee, DJMastermum! You only brush once at night?? That must be my problem - i brush too often!!! (After every meal!) I've got LOTS of fillings in my 45 year old mouth! Plus a root canal and a crown, and a false tooth at the back which will soon be converted to an implant since it keeps falling out!
The front ones are still white, strong and filling-less tho..touch wood! :jump:

Morning and night for sure and sometimes at work if I have eaten something like garlic with my lunch (ie Thai food), I also Listerine and floss (though not every day) and I have no fillings.

Yes, my dentist said I have perfect teeth. Had to have my wisdom teeth out a few years back to the sum of $700.00.

I brush twice a day. Morning and night. Considering the amount of bacteria in a mouth I consider it unhygenic not to brush at least twice a day. Also, I feel brushing in the morning freshens me up and I just couldn't go to bed without my teeth feeling nice and clean
3-4 times a day, first thing in the morning, after breakfast, maybe early afternoon, and always before bed.. and at least one flossing, maybe two.. mouthwash once or twice as well. can't have a too clean mouth! :D

LMAO There's a lady that I sometimes is seated next to me in tafe and her breath is awful, she leans close to me when she talks to me and I have to hold my breath! It makes me feel physically ill.
Needless to say, I like getting to class 5 mins late now so I can avoid her sitting next to me! LMAO
I can't stand people without good personal hygiene.

OMG the funniest thing happened at tafe today Stormy. This lady came in and sat next to me, not long later she pulled out a huge pack of minties and placed them on the desk. At first I started peaking out and thinking 'OMG she is on AFW'!! lol Anyway, we are doing an assignment together and I said 'Give me your email address and I'll email you the info tonight' and she said 'oh I don't have email or internet'... I was relieved!!! She's obviously not on AFW!! :hehe: Somebody must of said something to her about her breath, don't know, I was absent yesterday to take DD to get her x-rays so I don't know what happened while I wasn't there!!! LMAO

I actually have a toothbrush I tote around in the car glove box...It's just handy to have, imagine talking to someone with food stuck in your teeth.
Well I did get caught once..I ate some parsley just before I raced out the door, went into the newsagents, then off to school. Spoke to one of the mums and then she told me my teeth all green..I nearly had a fit.LMAO
Yes its funny now.:D
