Good News

Just got a call from the Vet.

Nudge went in yesterday for another blood test (to check the levels of his thyroid) after being on the tablets for 1 week.

His original level was 156

The normal level for thyroids is between 9-46.

and ...............

his level is now at 24!! Isn't that remarkable (especially after only 1 week :O)

The vet did tell me that it will still take a little while for the rest of his body to recover from it - which will explain why he still wakes me up at 3am for food :roll: but who cares :hehe:

He will be on the tablets now for the rest of his life but I don't think he minds as he is thoroughly enjoying his Philadelphia snack twice a day :hehe: and doesn't need to go back for another blood test now for 3 months :D

Am very happy - so had to tell you all :D

Yes I do Zen - I have even mixed it in with his sachet and he has eaten it :yes:

Awwww....isn't he just a beautiful boy but OMG he's got longer claws than Mojo! He looks so healthy there Barbara. I hope he is looking like that again soon :D

Yep, his claws are massive and I cop an arm and leg full of scratches if I even attempt to cut them so I leave them be now :yes:
