Have you ever been to a school reunion?

How did it all turn out?

Yep, we had a function a few years back (2001) for our 10 year anniversary, about 65% of my year were there, it was interesting, most were married and having kids etc, pretty standard stuff, the girls that had done very well in the HSC had gone on with fantastic careers, few surprises as well, it was a good night. I have my regular girls from school that I catch up with once every 6 months, there was 9 in our group and 6 or us still meet.

I think I might go for the 20 yr one.....hopefully everyone will have gotten over their egos by then

Apparently at the 10yr one, there was the same bollocks as went on in highschool. But a friend at work who went to their 20th said that it was great fun because everyone had gotten over themselves by then LMAO

Hi ladies :waves:

Yes I went to my 20 year reunion in October last year. I went to an all girls school. It was interesting to see how many ladies hadn't changed at all. Some I didn't even recognise and had to ask them who they were. That was embarassing! :hehe: It was a good experience overall

I think they would be great...but as I was a very shy Loner at school, I can only think of three people I would like to catch up with.:)
Sad but True..:hehe:

We didn't have a 10 year one. I have caught up with heaps of people from school on facebook. Most of my schoolfriends are still travelling and working overseas and interstate which I think is the main reason we didn't have one. I would say everyone might be more settled for a 20 year reunion :)
My brother had his at the end of last year. He had recently broken up with his fiance and was single so he was pursued by several of the girls he went to school with and has been seeing one of them now for a few months and they are currently holidaying in Bali together :D I hope it works out because she is just lovely.

Aww that was nice for your brother Rach...lets hope it works out for them both.

So were they friends at school or did they hate each other back then? :hehe:

They didn't really have too much to do with each other Patric. Lauren (My brothers new GF) told me that when they were on Year 8 camp my brother made her laugh so hard that she wet herself! So she spent the next 4 years (until the end of Year 12) avoiding him because she was so scared that he would make her wet herself!

obviously i'm too young still to go to mine, but that should be in the year 2015. i probably will go, even though i'm really not interested in knowing what everyone has been up to. i was friends with everyone for the most part..DF went to his 10 year reunion and he didn't talk so highly of it..so who knows if he'll even go to his 20th.
