and they are fighting! LMAO....we have had a new pet fetich (sp) here...Gemma decided she wanted a rat...and since we have has such bad luck with our dogs over the last year or so, I thought why not (as long as we keep the cat away LOL)...well she got one with her babysitting money...and we love her!...

So now I have one, Jaimee has one, Gemma has TWO and Summer has one...the boys just share ours, they are too young to have full responsibility yet...they do help us feed and clean though which is good training...

I was sitting here the other day and I had ALL of them fighting down my shirt :)...wont show you the pics of that! but I will try to get you some...

Rats are great pets, we used to have some..they are so cute. Rats are really intelligent and friendly you can really form a bond with them.

Can't do mice, smelly ewwy things :eww:

We dont have hamsters Kiki wish we did...and we aren't allowed ferrets in QLD...or rabbits...so rats are our closest...and yeah Leigh, I didn't know they were so intelligent either. Gemma's first rat (Kale) would go to no-one but her, then when she got her second rat (Benny) Kale would ignore Gemma...was so funny, she would actually turn her back when Gemma went near the cage...and Kale would sit with me but as soon as Gemma walked into the room she would be nosing in Gem's direction, trying to get to her...

Rats are very social animals I think...if they dont have other rats, they bond with their owners...they even like the boys, who are a bit rough...and Logan keeps putting Scooby (my, Logan and Aiden's rat) down...like she's a dog and will come when you call LMAO...

Oh and dont listen to names 'cause they all female LMAO dont want rat babies...not yet anyway.

ferrets are illegal in certain parts of new york..my sister though was able to keep one and it went crazy on her, so she returned it. :(
