Telori do you wrap the cobb in foil when you put it in the oven or just leave it?

Telori

Just sit it on an oven tray, it's mainly to toast the bread.

Hmmmmmm sounds yummy. Did you use hard rolls similar to the cobb loaf? And the chicken, is it just chicken breasts cut up into little pieces?

We had a bought BBQ chicken, I just shredded it. And the rolls were hard. Not the ones you buy already packed, I used the ones you pick out yourself. Mine was wholegrain the kids had white. (I think they called them hamburger buns)

Spinach Dip

You need:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 pkt frozen spinach (250g) or use fresh spinach
1 chopped onion
1 pkt Spring Vegetable Soup
1 cob loaf or multiple small bread rolls

Method:
In a bowl mix the thawed spinach, sour cream, onion, vegetable soup and mayonnaise and mix well.

Slice the top of your bread and pull all out the middle of the loaf.

Fill with the mixture, return the lid, and place on a baking dish surrounded with torn bits of the centre of the loaf which can be used for dipping. Bake in a slow oven for about an hour and voila!

This is another dip which is yummy

OK got another variation to the loaf. Try adding a soup mix...like french onion or something. I haven't tried it yet but I'm going to this weekend. Will be taking a couple to smum's 50th BBQ. Will let you know how it goes.
