Hi Denise, try a search on Google - I found a couple of places that suggest this is quite a common error - at least you can point this out to hubby!

Took the camera in to Harvey Norman and its still under warranty anyway heard back today that it will cost about $150 I think to have it fixed. Said it was still under warranty but they said it had been dropped so thats not covered. Myself or Shane certainly didn't drop it the kids are not allowed to use it how do they know its been dropped or is that a common way of getting out of fixing something under warranty. Who do I ring to complain Harvey Norman or Nikkon. Might ring Harvey Norman tomorrow and ask them. Shane never questions he just says Oh alright if thats what you have to do. I'd be telling them its still under warranty we didn't drop it so fix it whats the point of having a warranty if their not going to honour it.:argh:

I dont like Harvey Norman. The people that work there in Mackay are rude (that's not to say all Harvey Normans are bad). Maybe one of them dropped the camera and aren't owning up and so it is going back on you guys? I'd fight it, go to who ever and explain.

Looks like its going to get fixed under warranty:clap: My MIL bought the camera for us and took out an extended warranty so something like this wouldn't happen. Like I said to Shane no one wants to help unless you kick up a bit of a stink do they.:D
