I love clothes and admittedly I spend way to much money on them, but I don't care, They give me pleasure and no one in my family suffers for my indulgence.
But my Hubby who is 12 years older than me and from the old school Farmer has no taste at all, I have tried to change his taste with very little success, have bought him younger more modern garments, that he scoffs at and says He wouldn't be seen dead in that (about this moment the thought is tempting )
He doesn't seem to be able to get past his farmers checked shirts and the old farmer jeans
went out last Saturday night for tea and he came out with a nice jersey I had bought him, with a bloody checked shirt collar poking out,
I see his friends older than him and they dress better than him, I always think they must think to, Shit why doesn't she do something about the way he dresses.
So ladies has your man got better taste than mine

My new man dresses very nicely (he wears Hugo Boss jeans) and he smells divine. He looks like Mark Waugh.

I see no point in buying him stuff he won't wear and he won't go near a clothing shop to save himself. :P

So in essence, yes he does dress according to my liking but I'm afraid my liking is probably about what your hubby's is.....only skip the Clark Kent check shirt look. LMAO

definitely not. DF has no taste. he'll wear jeans (mostly ripped because those are for work) and t-shirts everyday. with his work boots. :(
i've bought him a few nice shirts for xmas that he's been wearing and a pair of jeans recently too. so that's a step. hopefully it just gets better with time! :hehe:

Dh is a great dresser - when we go out he always looks gorgeous. But when we're just hanging out at home "daggy" is his look . :D

My DH wears the daggiest stuff around, it's work shorts and T's almost everyday. He detests jeans
(I live in mine) his hair is always sticking up and a mess...He hates shopping so most of his stuff is what I buy. BUT...
When we are going out somewhere special, it's like I am with somebody I don't even know, tailored pants, nice shirt, and shoes. Even his friends can't believe how different he looks.LMAO

I am jealous Patricia. I don't believe I've ever been out with someone truly "hot". :) Mr C was a spunk when he was young.

Mine surfs and prefers to wear surf label clothes.. luckily they have some nice clothes and I do nearly all of his clothes shopping as he hates to shop.. so most of the time he looks good to me although he is a real scruff (he has long dreadlocky hair) and some of the clothes combinations he chooses is a little questionable at times!!! His hair grows really quickly he has had long hair and dreadlocks before but when DD was born 2 years ago he had short neat hair and looked nicer I think... :hehe:

My DH always asks me what to wear if we are going out! So, he always looks nice only because I tell him what to wear....When he is around home he wears work pants and t shirts, but I like that look as well!!:D I buy all his clothes, he hates shopping!!!

when i first met my bf his dress sense was terrible now 2 years later i have finally gotten him to wear clothes that are much nicer and makes him look much better. ive even had his parents thank me for making him look more respectful. As for his hair we have a constant battle with it - he likes his hair cut really really short but i dont go much on guys with short hair as in shaved and so i like his a little longer and spiked so more so than not im the one who has to do his hair otherwise he wont do it!

Umm, you're kidding right? It's been my experience that any blue collar working men currently 30 or over, think dressing up is a clean t-shirt! Love my guy and at 42 he isn't old, but Lordy he's stuck in the fashion past our '80s youth. I gave up trying to "modernize" him some time ago. Obtained all the victories I'm going to get with losing the moustache (a friend calls them armpits with teeth), and putting a stop to side parts and combing. The moustache had to go right at the start, but the hair took months of pleading and bullying...er, "persuading" to accomplish.

LOL Mine is a flanno & jeans man. I will never change that. BUT I, finally (after 16 years), have him in a polo shirt for the days he plays golf!.... okay so the polo shirt has "Golden Eagle Hotel" on it, and it's black , but it IS a polo shirt! LMAO

DF started asking me my opinion on certain things-like clothes, whether he should grow out his side burns, etc. lol, i love it! about time he starts asking! :hehe:

I do like how he dresses, although he has this one jacket that I really hate, but he knows it, I think we´re very communicative and honest with each other, If something might look weird I feel free to tell him, and the same way around =)

My hubby also hates shopping cherie! He also has no taste for dressing. Dont even know how to wear for what function. I have to choose what he should wear daily before going for work. If not, he will miss-matched everything.

But its so weird because if he was forced to choose a dress or accessories for me, usually he will choose something nice and I surely will love it...

My OH usually has all his clothes bought for him by his mum and sisters. Lucky thing! He has loads more clothes than I *note jealousy ;)* and if he ironed his clothes he would look 100% better (but then so would I as I don't iron either). Usually if he is wearing a really crumpled shirt and goes to his mother's house she will whip off the shirt ASAP and iron it immediately! At least they buy him trendy clothes. I'm happy with that :)

My BFs wardrobe is excessive... and he won't throw anything away... as to whether h dresses to my liking is debatable.
