:yes:went to the markets and ended coming home with another feathered friend ! He is a baby Scaly Breasted Lorikeet:yes: I have named him "Baby" he is handraised so he is pretty tame. So I had to buy a new cage and of course some toys for him:hehe:We now have a total of 8 birds:) Our Rainbow Lorrie just loves him too ,he is a real show off to him. Will take some pics when I get the chance:)

My hubby is a sucker for birds as well, but we already have too many so he's slowed down with the buying, congrats on you new addition Sandy.

John's step-dad used to have a cockatoo that swore....and he always denied teaching him. He was good fun but not the kind of pet to have in suburbia. :hehe:

I gave my brother a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo called Stanley for an open house present.....he was kept at my parents while an aviary was being built for him. He would squark every time one of the dogs would walk past and someone in the house would yell at the poor thing.
The only words the birds learnt were after he had squarked and he would say "Shut up Stanley".
