Another Update on my sons UTI

Bailey had his ultra sound yesterday ( on his kidneys and bladder), so i made an appointment for today at 4.15pm, the receptionist rang this morning saying Baileys Dr is sick and would I like to see the other Dr or make another appointment, I said no I will see Dr Ben as I want to get the results from the ultra sound, she said oh hang on I will have a look and if all is good you wont have to worry coming in, she comes back as says No you will have to come in.......
I said Why? she said on the report it says somthing like being refferred to a SPECIALIST :headh:, I am so stressed, wish I hadnt asked her ( then my sis said she should not have been aloud to tell me anyhow) , so now I have stressed all day and am making myself sick, and all on top of this it is his birthday... I am just praying there is nothing to wrong...

The receptionist should not have given that information to you over the phone; esp as the Doctor is not in today...really she could lose her job of this.

I would ring back and complain and ask to see another doctor ASAP.

Mes if you're worried, see another doctor at the same practice as they would have access to his notes and test results. If you do in fact need to see a urology specialist, the sooner you get a referral letter the better because there can be lengthy waits for new patients. :yes:

Linda, I know it's stressful. Is I posted in your other thread we went through something similar with Filip and he is still seeing a specialist. Whatever it is, don't be afraid of asking for a second opinion. We did and it was a good move. Good luck, I'll be thinking of you and Bailey.:hug:

Sorry Girls, was a stuff up of a day, appt got cancelled so it is today, I went and picked up the report and xrays thou, then came home and pmed Stormy, gave her the results and she told me what they really meant, Nothing really wrong, seems his bladder is not emptying, which could be causing the UTI, so have to see a specalist, seeing Doctor today, and I tell you what I feel like abusing that receptionist.....Will let u all know when we get back today, would have yesterday but after Stormy explained to me I felt so much better I went and hasd a glass of wine LMAO, and celebrated m y sons bday. Thanks for the concern Girls. and a big thanks to Stormy, she really is a Angel is disguise....
