Hi! My name is Jo and yes, I am a newbie!
I live in QLD, and have a loving partner (Justin) of three years and a dog (Leela: the destroyer of everything: whether you think it can be destroyed or not!), a cat (Sprinkles: the food thief!) and a bird (Charlie: the grumpy old man!)!
I have struggled with infertility for the past 2 years, which for my age (20) can be quite scary! Regardless of age however, it can be quite painful watching friends and family fall pregnant at the drop of a hat when you are over here struggling with the opposite problem! Unluckily for me (and opposite to many people my age) I am Desperately Wanting Baby: I have cared for too many other people's children and I want my own to care, love and be responsible for!
It is partially because of this that our life plans have altered drastically: instead of fostering after children, we have decided to begin the process BEFORE children. Wish us luck as we begin this journey of self-discovery and challenges!
