I haven't been listening to too much other than the radio and MTV lately. I listen to my mp3 a lot at the gym, and haven't been for awhile while I've been sick.
I also listen to it to go to sleep of a night, at the moment it's James Blunt and Pink's new album.. I think her new video clip is the best one I have ever seen LMAO
What are you listening to..

No offence Leigh but I cannot stand james blunt he sounds like a strangled cat.
I am really into incubus & nickelback. Plus I love powderfinger and grinspoon for the aussie bands. My fave radio station is Nova 96.9 in Sydney.

Rogue Traders...not really into new music but this is pretty good. I sing and bang my head to it while I'm shopping and my older girls get all embarrassed. it's fun LMAO .

LOL Leonie, to be honest he isn't something I would usually listen too. But it's great to go to sleep to.
I think Rogue Traders sound like a strangled cat LMAO. I didn't mind them, but I heard her live...on that Australia Day thing in Canberra I think it was. OMG it made my skin crawl and havn't been able to listen to them since.

LMAO Leigh. Some bands just sound horrible live. I've mainly only seen rock/metal bands live so no cpmplaints with them but I'm sure some could be a let down like Ashley Simpson LMAO I prefer my music loud and on the computer or tv :Hehe:

also seeing a band live on tv is so much different if you were actually there in person at the concert. i have seen many bands live and none to complain about.

Thats why some bands dont actually sing when they are live, because without all that technology they CANT sing. The Rogue Taders CD has a song where she is trying to sing nicely...Ugh I skip that song!

Its only good bands who can sing that get away with the live shows. Some of my favourite bands are actually better live than on cd.

The silence that is nap time :)
Other than that, radio 702 (not much music on that though) and whatever happens to be on DHs iPod ... I should dig mine out and get some decent music on it but I'm lazy.
Funny thing about both Rogue Traders AND James Blunt, I think both of them, all their songs sound the same.

Sometimes nothing - I sometimes just like to hear the birds etc outside & just the outside noises.
Othertimes, it is the radio (usually Nova as it has more of the latest songs on it).
Then I have my 'weird' moments where I like to listen to soothing music.
I think it all depends on my mood.
I've got my mp3 player now - I just need to put some songs on it :Hehe:

ATM I'm listening to my daughter (Naga) babbling away to my pup, Krystal, and throwing the ball down the hallway and Krystal catching it, then taking it behind the lounge and Kylie saying 'bring it here you little shit'. I could go on but I won't. Oh and Kylie calls Krystal, Kriddle Kriddle Kriddle and keeps saying 'you're so cute'.
She won't go home either!!!!!!!!!!!
This is Kylie (Naga) .... Mum makes me sound like a kid.
Why would I go home when I can stay here playing with Kriddle :) Silly woman!!
Ok, I'm making Mum get out of her PJ's so we can go the shops now hehehe
This is Bev again. Cheeky little shit she is! I was getting out of my pyjamas when she did that. Naughty girl. BUT she did take me to the shopping centre otherwise I wouldn't have been able to go. So she's good and bad. Oh and she is a big kid when it comes to playing with Krystal.
LMAO @ Bev & Kylie!!
I am listening to Sunrise on the TV atm & my kids snoring still

I don't quite know how I found this, but I've just listened to a bizarre rap song by Mr T, just a tad late for mother's day. Treat your mother right, fool! (http://www.ifilm.com/player/?ifilmId=2667017&bw=300&mt=WMP&refsite=7195)

I don't listen to much music these days. I love music but I think I'm too damn lazy to think about what I want to listen to and put on a CD.
I have the TV on during the day, turned down so it's just background noise and when something interesting is on I watch.
I have the radio on during the day of a weekend and listen to 4KQ. 70' 80's stuff. Love it.
Most of the singers that you young people mentioned above I've never heard of. I'm now starting to sound like my parents. OMG!!!!
Luv Angel Musik Babee
19-05-2006, 04:03 PM
LMAO Bev. Isn't that scary. So far it hasn't happened to me as mine are too young plus I am too so I'm bringing them up on good music :Hehe:
Although a lot of people would dissagree

I was fine with following all the modern things while Kylie was living with me, then when I didn't have to know all of that, I figured I could listen to my music. Funny thing is, she knows all the old stuff and I didn't think I played it that much. Oh except for Elvis of course. Everyone has to know and love Elvis. Tried teaching the dogs but they just didn't catch on. LOL
