Book Lovers - Pls Read This

Hi all! I had an idea and would appreciate some feedback on it. I read a lot of books of various genres, usually have several on the go at the same time, and was thinking......Would any of you find it interesting to read an essay/book report about some of the books I really enjoy? Also, would anyone else be interested in doing the same for what they are reading or have read?

Please let me know. All feedback welcome. Well, polite ones anyway! But feel free to tell me you think its a dumb idea if you want to.

Hi, It wouldn't bother me if you posted a review on books you read. There are similar threads already on the go - but not as detailed :) As for posting any myself... you'll all be waiting a while!

go for it NC.. only issue i could see, is to be wary of posting too many details of the story, in case someone would like to read the book for themselves and find out what happens..

is the book club open to newbies? we are currently reading Last Man Standing by David Baldacci, have you noted that NC? joined up yet? (if it is open to newbies that is)

Hmmm....given that I gloss over the majority of threads with big huge chunky paragraphs, then I'm thinking I would probably gloss over a book report as well. :yes: Not to mention, if I read a book report, at least the variety I'm accustomed to writing from high school, I wouldn't then read the book. :blink:

Ok, I see I used the wrong terminology, I meant book review, not like high school. God no! Would want to relive that anymore than anyone else would. Brrr, just the thought gives me chills. No, I meant reviews on any books I finds really good, but without giving away the book itself! Just enought to interest others in it. And yes, I will look into the book club. Thanks everyone!

If you have a look in the "what are you reading now" thread, some of us tend to put mini book reviews in there as we are reading. :)
