i was at a friends house recently and she cooked a delicous meal which came from a recipe book called 'symply too good to be true' so after looking through it i went out and brought books 1,2,3 and fell in love with them and have since brought 4 and going to get 5 when im next in town.

They are aimed at healthy eating and they are simple to follow recipes (not like some recipe books which use ingredients you've never heard of let alone got in your cupboard). They include entrees, mains, meats, chicken, slices, deserts, vegetarian and each recipe has a nutrition table which includes all the states about the recipe so for me doing weight watchers i find it fantastic as i can easily use it to work out points!

anyway just wondering if anyone uses these books and can recommend a favourite from them :)

my fav so far is from book 1 - the beef and vegetable pie! also really like the banana cake and garlic bread!

I've had book 2 for about 6 yrs & we love the potato & leek soup & the Fettuccine carbonara, Tabouli & i think the curried prawn recipe is the nicest curry i have ever had i put chicken in mine because I'm not a lover of prawnsit's on page 24, i made the chicken & cashew stir fry a few times but just seem to forget to make it as often but it was nice as well. I've done the Green beef curry, the Macaroni beef. I have a lot of WW cook books & i really like the, too but i think STGTBT is every bit as good every meal we have had from the book has been great

Oh yeah! They are great, I've been using them and have lost 12kg so far. I love most of the stuff in her books, the kids especially love the pizza subs (can't remember which book sorry) - it's actually 'Pizza Strudel' and then you use the sub variation.

We have books 1,2 & 3 and they get used all the time.
I purchased ours 2nd hand, we got the three for $10, best $10 I ever spent, they are fantastic!

I alos love that the ingrediants are normal every day ingredients & also most of the recipes don't take four hours to make, I find that is helpful LOL!
