That's the max sentence allowed by law? Oh my God, that is every bit as screwed up as some of our Canadian laws! Why do people keep getting away with this. Yes, in my opinion that's exactly what happened here! He will be out in his early 40s and have another 40 available to hurt someone else, maybe even more children. Grrrr....
