I had to tick 3 of them, only because it just depends on the mood that I'm in....Oh, and you forgot one Patric, get the kids to wipe up!!!:D:

Yes it is Kay...I will be able to tell lots from the answers you give and combined with Kekka's poll we will be able to determine lots of things about you all ...:hehe:

Bloody hell....soon I won't be game to say anything on here at all out of fear that it might subconciously mean something else entirely. LMAO
Oh well, in good faith, either the dishwasher does it or a towel does if I wash by hand. :P

Drip dry in the rack (it's more hygenic :P) or in the dishwasher.
I'll tell you what it says about me ... I'm lazy.

You're not lazy in the slightest Naomi.....more sensible. Think of all the hours of dish drying that you save over your lifetime (and we only live once).
My ex used to insist on 'me' drying up. (#$%^&^*@!~!!)
My dishwasher's been on the blink for months. Next wad of cash I come into, I'm getting it fixed!

Glad he's your ex, Kekka. That's just cruel and unusual punishment.
We didn't have a dishwasher until we moved here and I don't think I'd ever want to go back to life without it. I'm just biding time until the kids are big enough to unstack it then I'll be set :P I tried to teach the cats but without opposable thumbs, they kept dropping the crockery.

The dishes that are washed in the dishwasher are automatically dried (well, they are supposed to be ) but any dishes that are hand washed are dried straight away with a tea towel and put straight into the cupboard/drawer (yes, that would be in the right order and/or stacked properly :P), the sink is wiped, cleaned and dried (and if need be, polished LMAO)
Gosh, writing it down like that does make me sound very um........anal :shh:

I know I feel the same Barbara :headh: I even do that you know wrap the towel round the bottom of the tap and do that see saw action to clean and polish round the base. bloody hell I have to get out more

I would never dare use the tea towel/cloth to polish the sink..I remember getting my hands firmly smacked as a kid when after finishing the drying up I would try to do it ...I am sure my anal mother has/had eyes in the back of her head..:hehe:

Dishwasher is the only thing that dries anything at my place. Plastic cups usually get washed and left to dry on the draining board

i ticked three. the kids usually help me dry or they do it themselves and put everything away-the stuff they can't reach, i do it. when i'm lazy and they're not home, i let it drip dry. and lately we've been using lots of paper plates, but then again you still have cups and cutlery to wash, so it never ends!

Di, if you wash up in the same order you are one of the only people I'll let do the dishes in my house :hehe: People who know me know I do my own dishes, and those who insist on doing it usually discover I redo them when they leave :D I ticked all three by the way - usually the dishwasher; anything hand washed drip dries (I use the hygenic reason too Naomi :hehe:) and I use a tea towel if there's not enough room on the rack or it needs to be used now.

I don't cook so I don't have many dishes; I hate washing up at the best of times and I never dry up, they just drain.

Thats what the dish washer is for. If they arnt quite dry i leave the door open and pull out the racks so they can air dry.
Pots and pans i hand wash because they take 2 seconds to wash and they take up too much room in the dish washer. they are usually left to drip dry in the rack except for tonight when i asked DF to help peel potatos and he picked up a tea towel and dried the dishes. Wasnt what i asked for but i didnt complain

I voted option 2 (drip dry on the rack) because I hate to dry dishes, it's all the way up there on my 'hate' list along with folding the washing! LMAO (also because I don't like little cotton balls on my dishes!)
Otherwise I would of chosen Option 4, we tend to use paper plates on Friday nights, that's the night we have slack lazy dinners eg. nachos done in the microwave and it's so much easier to use paper plates than to spend Saturday morning scrubbing melted mozzarella off the china!
