er ...!
Broome is facing a shortage of Drs, with one practice (multiple Drs and also nursing staff) closing and my Doc is retiring at the end of the year. A shame; he is tops.

How very superb that your daughter is on telly and the radio. You must get quite a kick out of that! What channel is she on? Is she a journalist or a consultant because she has knowledge in a certain field?
Did you tape your grandson?

There is a nation-wide doctor shortage in Canada too. We might have universal (very basic) health care coverage, but what good is that if you can't find a doctor or if you do, he doesn't give a damn about your issues? Seems more and more countries are facing this issue these days. Doesn't anyone want to be a doctor anymore? I know, it's not nearly that simple and I've heard all the reasons it's happening here, but still.........

I work in a pharmacy right next door to drs and they are all miserable. One dr had a mini break down in front of a patient. Its quite obvious they just dont care.

Well I'm pleased to say my Doc is terrific. I am so so lucky to have the job I do, with lots of happy 'customers'. 99.9% of patients who come out of his office are delighted at the level of care and attention he gives. He is old school and very thorough. But he will be 70 at end of year so time for him to kick back a little.

My doctors are very good, we have husband and wife and another doctor I don't mind any of them you can always get one of them even at short notice, though I consider the wife my doctor she's harder to get. We also have a physiotherapist and a podiatrist, and the husband does acupuncture, they also have specialist nurses that do blood tests, do cardiograms and other minor medical things. Male doctor is also doing my d.d,s prenatal, as he did with 7 year old though that was shared care with ob, gyn.

Don't be surprised if his interview appears several months hence....whenever something similar comes up or it is a slow news day (no offence).
