I was just wondering what types of Credit Cards people have and whether they are happy.

This is the first year that I am not a full-time student and I have just been lumped with a $60 annual fee from my Commonwealth Visa card (something which I can really not afford). :help:

It appears that Virgin Mastercard has no annual fee and a better interest rate than I currently have. I wonder if there is something I am missing.....

Is it bad to transfer debts from one card to another??

I should start by saying, I probably have too many credit cards LOL

Two are personal cards and one is a work credit card.

My personal ones are tied in with our major bank and we have some kind of package where we get discount on card, house loans etc etc.

I saw an ad for the Virgin card saying it had won something for the cheapest card. Looks pretty too :P
We used debit cards, I only really need it for buying online. Safer this way, I can only spend what I have LOL

Virgin does look like a pretty good deal.

I only want one credit card and because I only use it to buy things online (like other people), I wanted the cheapest and I don't want to have to pay a $60 annual fee to get it!

Maybe if you use it just for online, a debit card would be the way to go?

I have a St George Multi access card. Its a debit card with a credit card number. Its really useful and you dont get charged fees if you use it online. I wouldnt trust myself with a real credit card

We also have Visa Debit cards - Westpac, Bendigo & St George do them.

We only have the debit cards as well - we did have credit cards but it got a bit ridiculous so we consolidated our debt and got rid of them and it's a good feeling. We have a Teachers Credit Union visa card and a St George multi-access card. Not sure about fees or anything.
