A friend bought this for my brithday about two years ago but I only got about an eighth through the book before I put it down. I think at that point, I had only started reading for pleasure (I'd never been much of a pleasure reader before that) so it was probably the size that threw me off. But I think I'll pick it up again some day because if I remember correctly, it was a nice bit of historical fiction and suspense.
