Do you surf the net at work?

I am not in paid employment at the moment, and we have wireless broadband internet so I'm constantly connected to the net, and will check email and AFW every time I walk past my laptop.

When I was at work, I surfed the net constantly, but mostly because my job was research so a lot of it was work related (or the boss's 'special projects' ;) like finding him accommodation or where he could hire a marquee for a garden party. He had no idea about the internet and thought I was some kind of amazing person ... thank you google!) It's lucky AFW wasn't around then or I'd probably never got any work done LMAO

How much of your time do you think is ok to surf the net for 'private use' at work?

I do temp work and contract work, and some of the companies have no internet (yeah I hate these one but they are out there, like car dealerships) anyway, as a temp I just use lots of discretion, and use the net when others are in meetings or at lunch, lots of companies have hotmail blocked, but can always check AFW...

I have never been told not to use it and I guess as long as the work gets done...

I often surf the net during my work day...my two bosses Adam and Cal are constantly telling me off but I don't really take all that much notice of either of them...LMAO

When I was working I would surf far more than I should have. I would get bored with what I was doing and hop on quick.

I work from home so can surf as much or as little as I want :D

i surf the net mostly at work since my job is more on internet research and advertising...but the sites i visit is very limited....we're not allowed to open personal sites, groups(Except forums)or mails....just work related stuffs....so mostly i am paid to surf the net.

i check the forums that i moderate quite frequently at work, as well as my gmail. but only when i really have the time! some days i barely have time to go to the loo, let alone anything else! lol

I work from home, on the net all day but most of the surfing I do is work-related. I duck in here from time to time for my mental health :)

I work from home as well so do it as much as I want but I was definitely guilty of it at work and was constantly being told off for it - lol. Guess that was one of the reasons I went into business for myself - I am my own boss and am now responsible for what I do and when.

I never had a job where I could surf the net, they would just uses intranets.
But if they did have internet access.. I would have surfed.
