cracked high heel

i have a pair of ankle boots that have a fairly high heel. i find most heels extremely uncomfy to walk lots in however these are extremly comfy and wear them to work most days due to long length pants.

however today i noticed on of the heels was a bit funny and when i had a look underneath there is a bit crack near the heel and i can acutally move it back and forth - now im scared they are going to snap at any moment but desperatly dont want them to as i really like them. do you think that if i took them to a shoe repair place they could fix them to prevent them breaking?

best thing would be to take them to a shoe repairer & ask them they should be able to tell you there & then

I'm sure your shoe man will be able to fix them. You just won't be able to wear them for a couple of days while they're being fixed.

i took it in to the shoe man today and he said he could probably fix it and it would cost at least $25 which is quite a lot considering the shoes were only $30 to start with. ill see if i can find another pair first otherwise i might have to get it fixed.

It's easier and cheaper to repair a shoe's broken heel than your broken ankle.

Oh, I would even bother getting them fixed amyamz - unless you really really love them.

I'm sure you could find another pair of shoes for that price?
