Anyone know a good way to clean them? FIL told me to take them outside and hose them down, wasn't sure that was a good idea LOL
We live near a busy main road, so they get really dusty.

Yep that's how my Mum use to do it - you can get people in to clean them and it use to cost about $5/blind - but that was a while ago.
Or you could just leave them - they'll only get dirty again! ;)

My hubby does just that. He takes them outside hangs them on the line, hoses them wipes them with hot soapy sponge, hoses them again, lets them dry, brings them back inside. Works well and saves money!

I was worried they might fall apart or something LOL. I had have been using your theory till now Gail LOL, but the cream blinds are now very grey and icky. And some windows where a bit of rain or something has come in, it's gotten a little caked on. The urge to clean them has no pasted, but will get Jake to pull some down and have a go (the owner lives behind us, I hope he doesn't mind me hosing his blinds :Hehe: )

This is one crappy job that I hate. But I agree with everyone else who mentioned hanging them on the line and hosing them down and using a sponge with soapy water to clean them.
