I ducked into Sportscraft the other day, and bought this fabulous pair of white jeans!!! I've been looking for white pants for ages, and there they were - perfect! :D
While i was there, i saw a gorgeous red belt that i thought would just set my white jeans off....and *gulp* I bought the black belt too! (shhh)
I wore them when we went out for dinner that night, white pants, red belt, white top, black throw. Along with red shoes and my red bag i felt like a million bucks! :D
RED IS SO IN LADIES! :D
Have you bought a Great Garment lately?

Try Witchery.....
Cause they used to make lovely fold over pants.....

Actually, funny you should say that..i did get a pair of white fold over pants..from a shop here called Flower (not sure if you have that in the East?) but they're 3/4 ones..and more for summer. And they're a bit firm, and show the bumps a bit too much i reckon! These jeans i got are stiffer fabric, less revealing, and more complimentary. I like Witchery..have bought a few nice things there :)

Can't beat Bridge Road in Melb tho!!!! Do you go there Coffee? Yeah, I think Flower may be a WA shop actually, with the main one being in Cotts...it's my fav shop :D

Now I have a song in my head, "Everything old is new again!"...LMAO
jaideii
01-10-2008, 04:43 PM
Now that song will be stuck there P!
Talking about old stuff...when i was 18 i had this really cool wooden belt that was a chocolate brown, and a mustard colour...sort of wooden slats woven together..which has this incredible buckle!
My 21 year old daughter wears it now! :)

Yes Trish I did try them on, and I thought they looked OK, when I got home and showed DH he is like WOWWW they lookgreat,, but I did not like them anymore,, ( but honeslty that is what I do all the time), yes I have lost 8 kilos but need to loose another 88 to look good LMAO
jaideii
01-10-2008, 05:27 PM
Yeah right mes! 88! Gawd.
Sometimes i think we do that tho...we wish we were a certain size before we can wear a particular thing..so until we are that, we don't wear it..but i think we should just wear it..and be happy with ourselves.
Believe me, i'm not overweight or anything..but i've battled with my weight, all my life..always think i'm fatter than i am! It's terrible really. Whatever size we are..we never seem to be happy. Well that's how i am anyway..

Are you talking the swiss Hanro? They looked expensive! LOL
Harrods..We were there a couple of times last year...but only bought tea and scones in the little coffee shop there! We went to look at the artwork! LMAO Signed the Diana book tho :D
How long were you in London for?

Yep Swiss Hanro. Feels fabulous on!
I spent 3 days there this time....so much better without the DD in tow :D I actually got to see & do some things :D
I've decided that Harrods is my new weakness. As I said the staff were so nice...and I wasn't dressed in fab clothes...just my Lululemon pants, a little top & ballet flats. I think my current enduring impression of London is Harrods staff :hehe:
And I've since bought ,or rather DH bought for me a great red dress from Laura Ashley....I can't wait to wear it out.
Cal must be a 'withit' guy eh?
And yeah, black jeans are back 'in' too! I always thought they were just for bogans...LMAO
i guess i've been a bogan for most of my life then, as black jeans at the only ones i had at one stage.. bogan!! :uhno:
on the other hand.. i've always looked askance at white jeans.. LMAO i have never worn white pants of any kind...

Zen, The thing with white pants is that a lot of women do not realise you have to wear bone coloured undies. White undies show through and make you look cheap, whereas bone colour ones dont.
that's a good tip Cherie!
talking of great garments.. i just bought one! was on sale from $75 to $20! a long loose knit top, in purple! i suppose it's a cardigan technically... it will go really well over my usual black top and pants come next winter..
