MBT's are Masai Barefoot Technology shoes and i wondered if anyone else has any, or wears them?

I really love them and wear them a lot when we're walking...:) Mine are black, but you can get all different sorts and varieties..ie sandles, runners, walking shoes - everything! :) They're not as elegant as a lovely sandle..but they are so comfy! And good if you have ankle or foot problems when you're walking/running!

Does anyone else wear these?

I would consider wearing them .. what size are they? Ha just kidding.

I have a delicious pair of Brooks trainers - they are like feathers on my feet. But I don't wear them up here because they are too pretty - the pindan up here will just turn them red. I wear Crocs for walking.

I only wear birkenstocks now, sandals and shoes. My feet cry if I wear anything else.

Do Birkenstocks have runners as well? Or just the sandles? They're good i know..

I love my crocs as well Jill! :) Can't walk or run as well in them tho! I wore them all through Africa, it was sooo hot! Be good for up there for sure!!! :D

For running I have fitted sports shoes. They don't get worn very much

A good idea Naomi...my MBT's don't fit my orthodics..so yeah, i have other one's as well. But my black MBT's sort of look a bit more dressy with jeans..than the runners do..so if i'm walking a lot i'll wear them, but at the gym i'll wear my fitted gym shoes too...(with the orthodics) Orthodics sound bad i know..but actually..they're really good :) (and i can't reallly walk too much without them) I wear heels..occasionally....as much as i love them, i can't wear them often enough because of the op i had -fusion of the talonvicular! :(

Mes, go to a good shoe shop and they should sell them there...they do cost a bit..prolly in the few hundreds..but to me, feet are important and worth it :)

Never heard of them Jaide but if the shoe fits!

I have loads of shoes. Work shoes and home shoes. At home I have some Clark's sandals at the moment which have a gel sole - they're very comfy. Running I have some Asic Gels - just beautiful they are.

Don't even want to talk about work shoes - I just tortue myself somedays LOL!

I love that Susi, "If the shoe fits" :)

Don't tell me, you wear heels to work? Ohh....(0uch!)

I wear boots...just good ol' Betts and Betts boots, to work...never heels..but then, my students really don't care too much, what i wear, as long as i'm clothed :D (i have a lot of Saudi students! LOL)

Asic gels, will have to have a look at those :)

Yep, you got it one Jaide - heels it is for work. Not to high but high enough to cause me grief some days.

Sorry, never heard of them
I mainly wear Crocs, because I can slip my feet into them and they are wide enough not to cause any aches. Wish they were dressier tho

Heather, crocs come in so many styles now! http://solecentral.com.au/products/crocs/ and while they'll never quite be black-tie dressy, some are less ugly than the original style. Or you can jibbitz them up and then even if they aren't dressy, they're at least interesting.

(I am not really a fan of crocs for myself but I can see the appeal).

Yeah that's true...they come in all different styles now (crocs) The one's i like are the one's that aren't so wide..they're more like a slipper sort...(not as in pyjama slipper with fluff, more as in slimline slipper if you know what i mean?) I've got a red pair and a black pair...i think it's a style that's more ladylike ha! I've also got a black closed in pair (without those vent hole things) which are great under jeans too...:D
