Oh wow I watched this movie today and oh my god it was sooooooo funny. I think I woke Ty up from laughing so much LMAO Ooopps :Hehe:
There's a lady that comes to my house normally every week and I rent dvd's off her so she kinda talked me into this one lol. I wasn't so sure. She said she loved but she also watched the series way back when lol. What's everyone's thoughts on this one? While I was watching I was kinda reminded of Walking Tall too

yeah me and my girls loved it too. I use to love the series and the movie was a bit of a mockery, but that's what helped make it funny.

I have boycotted the movie.. right from the start.. The casting was all wrong..
I just luved the series too much, I grew up witht he Dukes.. the mockery just broke my heart!
I think from what I have heard and seen on the trailers the show was a disaster from the get go. That is probably why it was only in theatres a week and then went straight to DVD... Awe,,,,

I just cant imagine a skinny boss hog. Just isnt right. And for the Duke boys,
I would have picked Tom Welling(smallvilles clark kent) for Luke and for Bo I would have chosen Paul Walker(from the fast and Furious)
Not 2 bumbling idiots..
For Daisy.. anyone but Jessica...why? And she is blonde.. No no.
I think her dad paid for them to cast her.
The real star of the show is the "General Lee".
My dream car.. I could only wish to get behing the wheel of that beauty.
It was almost realistic for me to have owned one, until this horrible movie drove up the prices on the 69's..
Blast them!

LOL Gina, I didn't think Jessica was a good idea myself she's just ugh I don't like her. Although I must admit I love Jonhny Knoxville and the other dude is hilarious in the American Pie movies

I grew up on the Dukes of Hazard also and loved it. I only saw the movie the other week as I thought it wouldn't be any good but actually I really liked it laughed all the way through. I would really like the old series to come back on telly though does any one know if you can get a boxed set of the old series. My two boys would love it I'm sure.:D

I used to love the series as a kid.
But I also loved the movie, I thought they did well with the casting, but I have a soft spot for seann william scott and johnny knoxville so thats probably why I liked it so much. It was a very entertaining movie.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but will get round to it one day. I loved the TV series; as kids we used to wind down the windows (when Mum and Dad weren't looking) and get in the car the same way as Bo and Luke :)
