Most of us would have tupperware of some kind.

The piece I use the most is my stack cooker. I bought it when it first came out over 10 years ago. I was a bit horrified that I spent ove $100 for an item but it has turned out to be a great investment. There is not usually a day where I do not use it for something.

Or are you a closet Tupperware person and buy it and just use it to fill up your cupboards? LOL

Probally the tupperware I use most would be my marinating dish and the one I put the beetroot in with the drainer.

Floria, I love the soup cup! I bought it a couple of years ago, when it first came out, and also the travel mug. I use them both all the time! I often go to craft days, and find the soup cup so handy for taking my lunch.

I haven't seen a Tupperware magazine in ages!!! lol

LOL, Gail the tupperacholic. Maybe you should share some of yours with Monty who has none.

A couple of xmas ago I bought my sis a whole heap for a gift. Until then she had never had any either. Everyone should have at least one piece of tupperware!

I have no bought tupperware for so long. I not long had a big clean out, but I still have a lot of it though. It seems to have gotten a little more expensive than it used to be.
I'd have to agree the draining containers I use the most. I have a few, and use them for beetroot, corn, pineapple.
The last book I saw had $100 salad bowls on the front page, I didn't look any further :faint:

It's ok Monty, I don't own any either  I may have a few pieces here and there that I have borrowed from mum, and never given back, But have never actually bought any myself. Cheaper to get it from Target, and they make them in purple :Hehe:

A favourite piece of tupperware- ummm I don't have 1 I have about 20 that I use almost daily LMAO

I have cupboards full of it and have had about 20 parties too ( had the last one about 3 weeks ago)

I bought the stack cooker when it first came out too ( the one with the bigger base than they have now) and I have all the stack recipe books. Stacker gets used at least once a day often more.

Hubby doesn't get in the car without his travel mug. He also uses at least one of the marinating dishes every bbq.

I have also been collecting the Tupperchef baking stuff- the red floppy silicone ones. My pantry is also full of the containers with sugar, flours, rice, tea bags etc.

I have 4 or 5 of the 500ml shaker thingies they get used daily too.

My freezer is full of the original freezer set.

And I even have some of mums and mil's really old stuff ( in the trendy brown mustard and khaki LMAO )

Nearly forgot my colanders an old red one and the newer white one with a lid, they get used 3 or 4 times aweek.

I LOVE TUPPERWARE LMAO

I'm a poor student so me investing in Tupperware was a big thing.

I bought mostly the storage type things. I love the freezer storage containers that you can put straight into the microwave.

Mel35 did you see the Retro cannisters in this months brochure?

Remember the cannisters in that colour you are talking about and the wrinkled lids? Sorry for the porr description.

here's a link - I hope it works! http://www.tupperware.com.au/dir063%5Cwebtupp.nsf/pages/thismonthonly0505b

I absolutely love Tupperware and just recently had a party.

My pantry is full of the Modular mates as I store all my food in containers. I also bought a near new stack cooker recently on EBAY and I love using that. I don't own any containers that aren't Tupperware and I have a cupboard full of all sorts of Tupperware that I've been collecting for the past 18 years or so.

My favourite piece would have to be my mixing bowl thingy...not sure of the actual name of it, but it's the big jug that has the measurements down the side and it also had a lid that you can use with a slender blender to stop it all going everywhere. I use that all the time.

Other than a few 'inherited' pieces, the only tupperware we have is the shape ball (http://www.barnikle.com/media/1/20050326-tupperware2.gif) thingy. But MIL and SIL are both hosting parties over the next few weeks so I may end up with some of my own.

OMG Gail I can't believe they are coming back again LMAO they are :eww:
maybe all my old tupperware will eventually become TRENDY again LMAO .

I have some of those with the wrinkly lids.

Naomi- My mum bought my brother one of those shape o's when they first came out, he's now in his 30's. I bought one for my eldest daughter when she was born- it's about the only toy that has lasted the distance with my 5 kids- it's still around somewhere. My eldest played with it all the time and she knew all her shapes by the time she went to pre school ( because of it).

I didn't think I had a favourite piece until I was recruited as a demonstrator and got my first chef series piece. I now own four pieces and use them every day. I don't use them because I can cook though, I have to be one of the most lousiest cooks but the product makes it seem so easy.

I have some tupperware, but my favourite piece I received for FREE at a party once. It's one of those little gravy, sauce scoop thingys. It's the best tool and you just can't find them anywhere else. And tupperware don't sell em to ya unless your a demonstrator.

I love the ice cream scoop I got from tupperware, it's so awsome and guess what? It doesn't bend when you dig into really, really hard ice cream. I was so wrapped when I got it lol, still am really. I also love the beetroot container thingy with the drainer in it, so much cleaner and easier.

a friend of mine from one of my last work places was retrenched and is a tupperware fanatic, so he decided to become a demonstrator while working out what he wanted to do.

until keiran became a tupperware demonstrator i had never brought any tupperware... then ofcourse i had a party...

Tupperware launched their new range this week, and i went with my friend to the launch... 3 hours of tupperware fanatics ( its three hours of my life that i will never get back). but i did get a free collaspable bowl for my trouble.

its added to my small but growing range of items. i have promised keiran that i will have a tupperware housewarming party when i move out...

if anyone lives in Melbourne and needs a distributor, let me know, and I will pass on Keirans details to you. you can buy straight from him and not even have to have a party. in fact he posts at his own cost to anywhere in Australia

I have got so much of the stuff & use so much of it everyday, it's hard to choose my favourite.

I love my microwave jugs - they get used daily, the soup cup is also a favourite. My pantry is full of containers, big & small.

Probably the most handiest of my collection is a tiny container which is just big enough for sauce or vinegar - that's great for picnics or hubby to take to work to put on his lunch etc...

I also love all the little knick-knacks you get when you go to a party. I have a drawer full :Hehe:

I have too many favourite pieces to choose from but here are my top 3 -

Junior Season serve - add meat, all marinade ingredients, close & flip. Marinades the meat without having to open lid. Just flip it a few times and the meat is marinaded. Is also great for transporting marinaded meat to BBQ's/parties etc.

Cockles - little containers a bit like cockle shells for the kids to take things in e.g. strawberries, grapes, sultanas/nuts, cheese/kabana. They seal well and fit into lunchboxes easily.

Rock 'n' serve - My husband & I take our lunches to work in these. Left over meals of pasta, stews, veggies etc. Just pop the steam hole and heat up in the microwave. Close hole, give a rock and you can eat out of it as well.

I would never let DH take his lunch to work in a tupperware container, I'd never see it again :jump: I make him use those plastic gladware containers.

We were given the can opener and I do like it, I like that it doesn't leave a sharp edge on cans.

I really love Tupperware, as you can tell from the above pic.

This is only one of my cupboards. I have another one, about half the size that looks the same, as well as a heap of other Tupperware storage containers.

I'm also watching a pack of Tupperware on Ebay as we speak too.

Well, I just added to Zac's inheritance with another $60 worth of brand new Tupperware that I won on Ebay.

I have enough now...time to stop buying I think.

Oh.my.goodness. I have pantry envy, Julie - that's beautiful! My SIL sells tupperware, she would be devastated if I bought from ebay, even though I could get a bargain (she says it's wrong, yeah well, boo hoo. Whatever).

Apparently tupperware offers this service where the demonstrator will come to your home and organise you pantry for you, tell you what you need to buy to sort it out. We recently got a modular set and I love it, I need to put everything in airtight containers because we get weevils a lot. We also have some of their ordinary storage type containers but the lids are so hard to get off I don't use them much.

I am slowly running out of tupperware containers and any other containers, as my hubby likes to clean out the cupboards when I'm not home and if he cant find the lid he hurls it. grrrrr
Might start checking out ebay for some to replace them just to give him grief about his cupboards:Hehe:

Julie your pantry looks great- That is what mine is supposed to look like:Hehe:

Jo- my hubby used to take my tupperware containers fishing and I would never see them again.

I had a tupperware party last year wont do that again the demonstrator was hopeless. once she new not many sales were going to happen she stopped being as friendly, still got over $600, I'm still waiting for my freebies the little ones she gives out for incentives. I got my round lunch box thingys and some rock&serve for nothing so i shouldn't complain. I bought a can opener from big w $15 the same as tupperware works just fine. my next party will be pretty girly things and jewelery

Wow!!! All you Tupperware people!
I don't have a favourite sorry.
I only use Tupperware and most of it was bought when I was in my late teens and early 20's.
It has lasted all that time. Some I've given to my daughter, some to my mother and sisters. We all use it.
I've tried the plastic stuff but nothing compares to Tupperware. No I'm not a dealer.
Helen I agree about the price. Nearly fainted when I saw a catalogue recently. I figure that because it's lasted me all of these years, it's worth the investment though.
