Isn't it wonderful news! I can only imagine what their families are going through. I also pray for the family of the man who did not make it!

I was watching this on sky news last night. I cried as I listen to the sister talking and all the people at the church cheering. A later report said everything looks positve that they had a image of them but they won't say to much until they know for sure and the guys are out. They are all remembering the mine accident in the US when they said they were alive but they weren't.
Will keep praying

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the news flash last night saying the last 2 miners were alive.

It's such a miracle.

i've just read they are going to put a pipe through so they can get water and jelly beans to them. they are not hurt and are in a cage 1.2 metres by 1.2 meters. they won't be able to walk because they have been sitting too long. One of the wifes said to mine management that her hubby was putting in for meal allowance, overtime, away from home allowance so get your check bookout. the wives have spoken to their hubbys via microphones. they asked for bacon and eggs

i've just heard, it will be at least another 48 hours before they can get them out, they are drilling a hole and giving them chocolates wrapped in foil.

Yeah they had a dietician deciding what they can eat after no food for 5 days. They wanted them to get some nourishment but not get sick.

Well I really hope the rescue is successful and they can get them out asap. I was watching Sunrise this morning and one of the fathers was on. He broke down when speaking about Larry & his family. It had me in tears ;(

Just listening to the news now. They still aren't out of danger. A small escape tunnel has to be dug to get to them.
After all this I sincerely hope they get them out OK.

I also watched it on Sunrise this morning - it is such good news that they're still alive, but also sad for the knight family ;(

Lets all keep our fingers crossed that the recovery goes well and that they are safely above ground really soon while also remembering the family of the poor man that lost his life.

I just heard on the news that they have finally gotten through to the chamber that the men are in. They are now expecting it to be about 4 hours and they will be out.
This has been a really slow process. Poor guys. Poor families. Poor workers.
The funeral of the other man is supposed to be tomorrow I think. They couldn't hold off any longer.
I hope I wake up in the morning to the news that they guys are out. I've been expecting it for days and days. I hope everything goes well for them.

Thanks Yomamma I didn't hear all of what was said.

Telori. They did look good didn't they. Good on them and everyone involved.
Now they have the funeral this afternoon. As you said 'bitter sweet'.
