Hi girls,

I was digging through a box of treasures this morning that I havent looked in for about 6years, anyway I came across this gorgeous SS ring with some sort of stone in it.Tried it on & buga doesnt fit but I do think it will fit Miss Lanky-legs, however it is very tarnished how can I clean it??

If you don't have a sonic cleaner, take it to the jeweller....not only will they check the setting, they do a wonderful job with the clean.

you can get jewellary cleaning cloths from most jewellers which can be used on both silver and gold & they are reasonably priced.

A sonic cleaner uses sonic waves to vibrate the muck and grime from the piece of jewellery.....good if the setting is intricate or for pearls.
I would be concerned that there would be residue from the BiCarb left in any decorative areas.

I recently cleaned a silver bracelet with bi-carb and vinegar. Just be careful around the stone :)
