Depends on my mood..prefer to go on my own..sometimes go with d.d. depending on what I'm buying..sometimes I have hubby with me and I'll ask him but he's not much help.

I mostly go shopping by myself because I hate feeling like I'm keeping somebody waiting. :hehe:

I buy a lot of stuff online, mainly t-shirts or stuff that isn't necessarily fitted to a shape. :yes: The more tailored things I wear, I have to go try on in a shop to make sure they fit first. If I'm shopping for a special event, I usually would take my mum or my bestie because they are honest about their opinions rather than saying what they think I want to hear. :brow:

Haven't done the 'girl thing' in pairs since my teens. I have no interest in what others want to buy. Very much a solo shopper here with my own agenda. Selfish but true! :D

I don't actually go out planning on clothes shopping but will get something if I like it and I am usally on my own. DH gets the s***s with me cause I don't like any of the clothes he picks for me. If I fing something that looks good online I will get it but again don't often go looking.

I don't tend to go shopping just because I need clothes. I have a very close friend who lives in QLD so we don't get together very often but when we do it's a marathon shopping trip. Mostly because we get a lot of fun and laughs out of it rather than we want to buy clothes.
She's very honest about things and will tell me straight if it's a bit yuck :)

I remember walking into Rockmans once just after they brought in the BeMe stores when I was at my largest. The sales lady told me I was wasting my time there because they didn't stock "the fat stuff" at her store. Told her I'd like to find that out for myself and ended up buying a skirt that was way too tight just so I could buy it there and stick my tongue out at her. It fits now though so not a wasted purchase. :hehe:

Good poll. :yes: My favourite shops are recycle shops because they always have something different, and I like going with friends, but if I go shopping for new clothes I like to go on my own and I hate the mirrors and I really don't like the girls coming in to check either. :uhno:

I am very fortunate that my best friend owns a boutique, I always shop there and most the times when the shop is closed so I have the whole place to myself she would never never let me walk out in something that didn't look good
I also shop at a certain place here where I live, I trust the sales women there as I am a shopaholic they now me well even ring when they get something in they will no I love they to would never sell me something that looked awful on me
I never take my daughters opinions into consideration as they think in there own age group and our taste are not the same, As for taking Hubby :hehe:he would make me buy overalls and gumboots

I go on my own simply beacuse I hate shopping for myself, I get flusted and don't want to put that onto anyone else. If I don't think something looks good on me I won't get it and I hate it when shop ass' tell you that "it looks great on you, just you colour" just to get a sale..all of 17 and trained resonably well..

i made my sister come with me to get my wedding dress alterations today..i definitely feel more comfy asking a family member's opinion over anyone else's. :yes: and everything turned out great. :)

I shop on my own and hope its not my eyes playing tricks on me when I think I look ok.

I've never asked for the sales assistants advice.. most are just trying to make a sale so they will say you look good no mattter what!!

After looking at the poll answers and there was no place for.....I shop alone!!! I started to worry, am I the only one....but phweee no I am not there are lots of you who like to shop alone. Actually the worse person to shop for clothes with is my DH...yes he tries on everything in the store...every store in the centre and then we go home empty handed...I kid you not.
