Just heard this. He just died. Don't know the cause yet. He collapsed at the mine site.

He had a heart attack.
He has had a couple of heart by passes in the last few years.
It will prob be on sixty minutes tonite
He will be missed good reporter;( ;(

Huge shock isn't it!!!
I just head this on Sky news (http://www.skynews.com.au/index.asp) & was coming to post about it. So sad he was a great reporter.

That is so terrible - I hadnt heard that and only got the news from AFW. He is not old at all and was a very likeable man. What a shame for his family.
