Are you a jewellery person? I'm not really, I only wear my wedding ring, my grandmother's wedding ring on my other hand and my gold watch...that's it for me. If I am going somewhere special I will wear this beautiful ruby pendant that Adam gave me a few years ago.
I can't wear earrings at all anymore due to all the trouble I had with infection...prior to that I hadn't had a problem with them but the specialist said that I would be taking my life into my own hands if I chose to continue to wear them....:O Sometimes miss being able to wear them as I think a nice pair of earrings can really set off an outfit?
Gold is my color...don't have anything silver at all?
Are you laden with gold and diamonds?

LOL Patricia. I have my earing but I always leave sleepers in them and I change the one at the top of my ear every now and then from a stud to sleeper. I'm a silver girl by the way lol. I dont really like the look of gold against my skin. But I wear 3 rings, a silver and cubic zirconia on my right middle finger and a plain silver band on my left thumb and a white gold and yellow gold band with a teent tiny diamon on my left middle finger. I love tha ring it's only new and yeah. Ummm I also have 2 anklets one on each ankle one is a nice silver one on the right and the one on my left is a silver one and I've added bells onto it from an old one so I jingle when I walk LMAO I don't notice it anymore but apparently it's annoying to others LMAO Um that's it I think oh and I hardly ever change my earings
i love gold and diamonds and rudies and emeralds and marcasite and i need to be rich. stopped wearing everthing apart from wedding ring when i had the kids now i forget to put it all on

I wear my wedding and engagement rings all the time, sometimes wear my watch (gold) when we go out. Hardly ever wear earrings. I do have a sapphire and diamond pendant DH had made for me that I sometimes wear, I need to get the chain adjusted so it isn't so long though. Gold for me too.

I love jewellery & wear it whenever I can. In my hair, on my ears, around my neck, on my clothes, around my wrist, on fingers & toes. Did I leave any place out?

I used to wear a ton of jewellery. I had a charm bracelet and silver bangles. I always wore a watch and I had gypsy bells around one ankle and a dainty silver anklet around the other. I use to wear a thin leather stip around my neck and long earings, never ever wore my earings in pairs. And yeah I use to make a heap of noise when I walked!
Now I wear my earings, small studs and my nose ring - also a small stud. Sometimes I wear a watch. I now wear gold but I love silver. I also wear a toe ring.

I always wear my wedding and engagement rings, gold bangle and stud gold earrings.
Then I rotate fashion jewellery with whatever I'm wearing.
Lots of beads, wood, glass, silver.

I love jewellery too :yes:
I like white gold and silver & most of the jewellery I wear is chunky.
I am not a big necklace person but love chokers of some sort. So unless the necklace is very short, I won't wear it.
I have usually got on:
Wedding Ring;
Engagement Ring;
Eternity Ring;
White gold chunky band ring with 3 stones (the birth stones of all my boys);
A silver ring on my thumb;
A choker necklace (if I am wearinga v-neck top);
Silver watch;
3 sleepers in each ear;
Belly ring;
Toe ring;
and last but not least, my nose stud :P

Yes Angie it was custom made.
It has an Emerald on one side and an Opal on the other.
At the moment it has got a diamond in the middle but I am still looking for a nice Garnet to put in the middle (which is Hubby's birthstone).
I'll try & take a pic of it :)

Sounds gorgeous. Ty's birthstone is emerald and Gav's is sapphire, interesting combo LOL and mine is diamond. They'd made a really pretty ring

I dont care for yellow gold at all. I think it looks really gaudy, it may just be the way people here wear it. When I was younger I wore silver, but now I wear platinum and white gold.
I only wear my wedding bands and watch. I wear a necklace and earings and change my watch if I go somewear nice.
I have tons of jewelry, I really love antique watches and rings.
I lost a beautiful 1930's Blancpain white gold watch with diamonds in Vegas, I think it fell behind the night stand, I dont know.. It was awful, I am so sick over it. After that I am so cautious about my jewelry now.

i used to wear silver when i was young, then i switched to gold now i am back to wearing silver,everybody says that my jewellery looks like white gold and diamonds , i dont tell them that they are not, i just like to keep them clean. i have two toe rings also. oh my nose stud is 9ct with my daughters birthstone in it.
I don't wear very much Jewellery. Always wear my wedding ring, only wear my engagement ring when I go out. Always wear earings. Have an everyday watch and a lovely gold one for going out. I have a lovely sapphire ring, and my late mothers engagement ring, also an eternity ring, I rarely wear them.

Barbara your ring is beautiful and what a great idea!
I wear:
3 studs in each ear 2 diamond and yellow gold 1 plain yellow gold - too lazy to change them often.
1 nose stud - I have a few so I change them around. All yellow gold but with different coloured stones.
My late Grandmother's wedding ring - Rose Gold - middle ringer left hand.
Yellow Gold and Pearl ring on 'ring' finger left hand.
Yellow Gold and Sapphire on 'ring' finger on right hand.
2 Anklets - one on right ankle - yellow gold with a dolphin on it, one on left side, silver with different coloured stones through it. I take the anklets off in winter.
I love yellow gold and diamonds. White gold doesn't suit me.
I have 2 engagement rings and 2 wedding rings, but no finger to fit them anymore. I've grown out of nearly all of my rings unfortunately. Kylie is wearing heaps of mine now. She couldn't wait for me to die!!!
The only jewellrey that I wear on a regular basis is a watch and my sleepers. Sometimes I might change my earrings for a night out, and wear my claddagh ring (spelling?).
I love jewellrey and could spend loads of money on it...but I'd just never wear it. And it's silver for me, or white gold.:yes:

I love jewellery and used to have a fair amount of costume and a couple of nice real pieces. Unfortunately this is yet another area where my health interferes. Sounds goofy, but even a tiny necklace feels like a ton of weight on my neck and shoulders. And earrings trigger migraines, even teeny tiny ones. Sigh....oh well.....
Side story here. DH bought me a beautiful man-made emerald necklace, ring and earring set several years ago and after much begging, I finally agreed to pawn them for two weeks to help out a relative. Guess what, I never saw them again as I couldn't afford to bail them out in time and relative of course never paid us back. Grrrrr...... On the upside, I refuse to help them out anymore and will never, ever, pawn something for someone's benefit again. Ever! Seems some of life's little lessons are pretty pricey hmm?
Oh poop! I hope I didn't bring down the happy tone on this thread???

Oh NC that is no good re your story of bailing out relatives. I don't understand how some people can be so darn rude and unappreciative of people's help!!! Drives me bonkers actually.....x(
I'm sorry to hear that jewellery affects your health :( I love my costume jewellery and real stuff too and am lucky enough that I can wear it. I only got my ears pierced in the last few years and can't believe how long I had missed out on wearing beautiful earrings for.... Can you wear bangles, bracelets or rings?

Awww, thanks Zietta! It's not that they were ungrateful so much as too busy catering to the family junkie (they think they are "helping" him :blink:), that he put them in the lurch, so after much debating I agreed to help, without knowing they were depending on junkie man to actually pay them his rent as promised...........So the by the time they had the money, my jewelry was gone. I love them, but this kind of thing used to happen so often that it nearly destroyed my marriage, until that is, I finally got smart put my foot down! Now that they know I won't bail them out because they keep bailing the moron out, things are much better. Unfortunately, that won't bring back all the money that should be in our bank account. Sigh... Oh well, as I said before, life's lessons can be costly! :D
But yes thankfully, I can wear any kind of bracelet or bangles and rings are fine as well! :) I've even taken to trying out anklets to satisfy my urge to bling up a bit! :berry:

I wear lots of jewellery. 2 sets of earrings most of the time.
I nearly always have a necklace on. I wear a sliver bangle that my DH gave me, it rarely comes off. I never take off my wedding or engagement ring, sometimes i wear other rings as well. I have a few anklets and wear them every now and again. i always have a belly bar in as well. :) i love my jewellery!! Silver or white gold... i am not fussy!

I love jewellery!!!! Gold~! Silver! BLING! haha...anything! I have a preference for gold, but i'd wear silver too! I love diamonds, but wear more pearls than diamonds!
I even love zirchons! Anything!!!! Bring it on! A girl can't have too many jewels! LMAO
I have a gorgoeus inca rose pendant my DH gave me from Argentina (their national stone) and some Lapaslazuli from Chile (their national stone) which are more precious to me than diamonds....just due to the memories!
But i also have some beautiful bangles and necklaces that my DD made when she was beading that are very precious too! I've strung them up in my bedroom..along with my milllion scarves...our bedroom looks like a massage parlour with all the RED, Jewels and Egypitan Scarves and coin belts! LMAO
Jewellery is an expression of self i think....and there are so many ways to wear it! I have some fabulous brooches and necklaces and anklets and waist chains.
Interesting what you said about earrings setting an outfit off...i reckon they can really ruin an outfit sometimes too! I've seen people wear over-the-top earrings along with a necklace...when the outfit needed one or the other! But then, i've seen people creatively arrange a HEAP of jewellery on themselves and it look brilliant!
Oh, and a gorgeus 'something' in the hair is a good substitute, if you feel like jazzing up an outfit but can't wear earrings :)
I love jewellery! Can you tell :P

In the last year, I have bought/been given/claimed so much costume jewellery but I am very lucky!!! OH's neice makes jewellery and she is very good at it, many people have asked me where I bought those earrings, did you buy them from Myer? And I say,'No handmade actually!'. She has a real knack.
I love jewellery too Jaide.... :D

I've never been a big jewellry person....I always wore my wedding & engagement rings and gold sleepers but then my hubby bought me a Tiffany necklace in May and I bought a silver bracelet in Canterbury as a momento of a beautiful summer so I guess you could say I'm learning to like it:)

I love wearing jewellery also! I have heaps and heaps of it. But unfortunate thing is I can't wear any to work. I have alot of basic gold jewellery like necklaces I wear all the time, earrings, rings, bracelet and bangle (thats my day to day stuff) all my other jewellery is that fashion stuff from diva, equip etc and I'll just wear them if I want to feel nice one day or if I'm going out for the night

Nicole, i know what you mean! I'm the same!! I don't wear much to work, and don't go out to many places requiring Dress Ups actually..but i do own heaps! But ah, it's not the wearing that counts eh, it's the owning! (well i don't really know about that, i made it up, but it sounds good! haha!) I do love jewellery tho! :)
