What sort of bra do you like? What do you wish you could buy but dosent exist in your size?
I like the funky ones, the brighter the better IMO. when it comes to straps im very picky. It need to be adjustable the whole length of the strap not just half adjustable half not.

Iam a pretty common 14C & can get all the ones I want though I do find this size sells out quickly

I like pretty one's, sexy one's, funky one's.. I like things a little different but with regular straps. I don't have a hard time finding bra's though and after years of buying expensive bra's a friend of mine told me to try best and less, I recently got 2 gorgeous and comfortable bra's on sale for $15 each.

i have regular ones for anything..i have a poka dot hot pink one. LOVE IT!
different colors..one grey, a neutral, whites, etc.

Like the ones with wider shoulder straps,they dont dig in as much.Wider straps dont tend to go with the sexy/frilly ones.

well i love a pretty bra but! when you are a GG they just don't come looking pretty & yes mine have wide shoulder straps as well i mean no BS my GF 26 yrs old daughter has had my bra on her bloody head for a hat LMAO oh & then another time she thought she could make a round handbag with them :(

I usually get fairly boring ones to go under any clothes but I did splurge at the Undercoverwear party and got three sets, two pretty, one funky. Only because they actually came in an 18E for once! :y:

Rachie.. U must have missed a post on knickers,, I hardly wear them, Only exceptions are when it is that time of the month, and when I wear a short skirt, ( only cos DH says I must LMAO).

(sigh) i know what you mean i am a g...ohhhh to be able to buy a pretty bra..what i wouldnt give and then you can only buy from certain stores.....

i found one that was a bit pretty but they are $190 each......so i could only afford one of those...but gees it feels good on:yes:

I would love to be able to buy petty or funky but like many others on here I am quite large (14 DD/E) and the best I can find are plain and boring but I do own a few convertable ones cause I like wearing halter neck shirts and strapless just doesn't work. LMAO

Come to think of it, when I was in hosital I couldn't wear a bra because I had 3rd degree burns under my boobies from the underwire in my bra and my boobies were all stitched up..

a lot of females don't wear bras in the hospital. me, i can barely feel comfortable not wearing one in my own home though, lol. i have to wear one. :yes:

I would love to be able to wear a pretty feminine bra but sadly I can't, they don't make really nice bra's in my very odd size..10D, hard to find that size anyway..I shop at B & L sometimes they are pretty good..

Bendon have some really feminine bras in larger sizes, they are more expensive, but are well made & nice for special occasions. Sometimes they have the 30% off specials.

Myer & DJ's have them.

I love the pretty bras that just make you think oooo la la.........I also like a bit of padding underneath the breast, push up,LOL......My size is always sold out usually, I'm a 10C

I have narrow shoulders so I find that the straps are always falling off, it's really annoying. I would like a bra with the straps joining the back a bit further in so that they were held in place better. I know lots of women with this problem.
Also I find that the straps lose their elasticity too soon.

When you say joined at the back more, do you mean like a wider strap at the back where it attaches at the bottom? I am having some bras made this year for my business, so your info is helpful to me!

and now that I have a bun-in-the-oven I can only see them getting bigger(and bras getting uglier)
I had the most beautiful silk half-cup bra in a pretty green with a bit of a pattern - not even a chance I fit now.:cry:

Has anyone done a bra/lingerie making course??

Has anyone done a bra/lingerie making course??

I am learning to make lingerie as I have started my own label. I haven't learnt about bras as I intend to have them made for me to suit my own design and specs.
I do plan to do plus size bras maybe but not right from the start. The list of sizes I need to have made is quite scary, in terms of the size of my order. I really want to cater for everyone though, when I can.
I do have the details of a bra making course down South of NSW if anyone is interested. My friends' mother did it some years ago, so hopefully the lady still runs it. The course was for women who had trouble getting bras to fit. I am considering doing the course when I have some time.
