I have the opportunity to have it done but it is expensive. Its about finding out if your colouring suits cool or warm colours so then you can buy clothes only in those colours and everythings meant to co ordinate together..Hope they go into what styles suit me as I havent the foggiest,or what shape body I am.
Anyhow wondering if any of you have been to these workshops and if they where helpful,or should I save my dollars.

I had it done once but I still wear what I want so unless you're going to do what they say it's a waste of money. :P

I wouldn't do it, they are expensive and unless you are totally clueless in what's suits you I think I would rather spend the money on clothes

I have never heard of them but i dont think i would spend the money. Take a friend shopping eith you and a digital camera. Try things on and take a photo. then go have lunch and look at the photos. out of the sales environment of the shop you will be in clearer mind to see how things really look as opposed to how the shop wants you to see them.
Then go back to the shops withthe good looking clothes and buy from there.

Funny when I was in school and learning Textiles and Design some women came out to our class and did a demonstration about this; I got picked and I was kinda neutral - so it didn't really work on me, the only colours I don't really wear is yellow and burnt orange.
I just buy colours that are classic and go with most of my wardrobe, ie blacks, white's, greys, the odd coloured shirt, I tend to wear a lot of black esp considering I own 18 pairs of black trousers.

My SIL had it done a couple of months ago. Well, she has never looked worse! She came to a family wedding a month ago in a BRIGHT GREEN dress, it just looked awful on her!
To me, I think it would be a waste of money.

I do too Cathy.
It is easy to see what suits us surely, without haveing colours done. Send her shopping with me, I'll show her how it's done. LMAO I am an expert in that field..:D

I dress in cool colours (blue and green tones) and always have done because I like them. I would not be caught dead wearing red, orange, yellow or earthy toned colours because I think they look ghastly on me. Even pink looks revolting as evidenced by the Pink Ribbon breakfast photos. :P
Perhaps all the people I see in the shops wearing such hideous clothes for their complexion have gone to see one of these "experts". :hehe:

I think most of us as women have it built in us to know what suits us & i think if we feel nice & are confident enough when we look in the mirror then that's all that matters because honestly we could have our best GF say that something looks nice on us but when we look we feel like crap so i say "go with our own gut feeling"

I feel confident that I know what suits me, and if I ever get it wrong, my Mum will soon sort me out! My main thing is that I am very pale skinned, so I can't wear clothes that are too pale all over, as I can look washed out. Otherwise, I wear all colours.
I think, if you feel that you don't know, you could do it, but what if they get it wrong and you've wasted your money?
Maybe you could go into a makeup shop, like Mac, or Inglot, and get them to help you with what colour makeup suits you. That would give you an idea of clothes too.
